It’s summer time and vacations in the sun in Clint City. Will we see new couples getting together? Gordon and Felicia both love water, but she spends all her time diving in it, while he uses it to put out fires. Victoria and Stiko are mad about big guns but he uses his for paint ball while she prefers to fire real bullets... No, when all’s said and done it’s a lot easier to fight one another than get it on!Get these characters in the shop's packs
Melanie is really good, if you think Wardog is good (and he's the best la junta 2*), then melanie is AWESOME.
And what's with the complaining, Vortex last year got the same treatment as Berzerk now.
Imari you are comparing a 2 star to a 3 star which is wrong to begin with, it's like saying Edd is useless because Vickie Cr is stronger. Besides Vivian is good at damaging and Melanie is good at power they are completely different in abilities and stars so don't compare them if you must compare atleast use cards with the same stars first.
Yes, that is true o.O
First vortex release was Deea, Sunder, Heegrn and Neloe, 18/6
Second one was Oflgn, C Blade, Cyb Lhia, Lehrg, 2/7
And then on 16/7 came Dagg, C Wing, Katja and Cliff.
And this is what an admin (Dr. Ido) wrote in the thread:
"Some of you are wondering why we are releasing Vortex cards slower than what we did with the previous new clans (10 cards in 3 releases instead of 18 for the Rescue, Piranas, Jungo, Skeelz). The answer is very simple, looking back to what we did with thos previous new clans, we felt that we should have been more patient.
Many of the cards that we released early in the life of the clan never saw much playtime, after only the second release you already had 12 cards to choose from !!
Releasing cards slowly also give us the luxury of monitoring how you actually play the clan and to adjust the stats of the cards accordingly."
Please folks, don't get so cranky just because there were no Berzerk. There's no rules that say that HAVE to come out every release following their introduction.
Also, I think Felicia is being knocked quite a bit and for no reason. Sure, she's not Nanook, but then, you'd be foolish to expect her to be. Nanook is a 10/4 in most scenarios, but against Piranas and Nightmare, she's a simple 8/4, which can be easily toppled by several cards in those clans. Against other clans, she's a very vanilla 10/4, which is nice, but plain, and she still has difficulty against several clans with powerful manipulation bonuses.
Gaia, as you all are comparing Felicia to, is kind of a boring card, and it's my belief that she's favored because she's nearly naked in her art. A 9/4 with -4 attack, Min 1 is kinda of plain, and it doesn't help too often, as she usually relies on her 9 power to pull out on top. She still suffers heavily against Piranas and Nightmare, as well as the manipulation clans, who's attack shifting is far more powerful than she can cope with.
Now to Felicia. Against Nightmare and Piranas, Felicia can win in most scenarios by retaining her massive power. Against power manipulation and attack manipulation clans, she can win, again, relying on her power and not having to worry about any obstacles. Sure, her damage is slightly lower than Nanook or Gaia, but that overall doesn't harm her. Ulu Watu isn't known for it's damage.
Well she is pretty exposed... Its a distractionary tactic.
I would use Felicia over gaia because stop opp bonus can help agains stop opp bonus bonus clans and attack manipulation bonus clans.
New cards tommorrow! Predictions are Sentinel, Roots, Skeelz, and GHEIST.
