To come out on top in Clint City, discretion and efficiency sometimes need to be favored over brute force. And the Junta’s new recruit, Nahomi is all too aware of this. Meanwhile the Jungo welcome Wendy while Gertjan joins forces with the Roots and Pesth finds his place on the decks of the Pirana's ship.

The Clint City fire fighters have always had their work cut out for them but since Vito joined the Montana’s they don't have a moment's down time and have had to cancel all vacation until otherwise instructed. Meanwhile the Pussycats welcome Veronica, while the Bangers open their doors to Angie and Wilhem joins the Skeelz.

Hi there,

Some players are surprised with intermediate missions which are not complete, when they should normally be. That’s true, and that’s wrong at the same time. We’ll explain why right now.
The missions like “win 125 fights with at least 2 All Stars in your hand” arrived last week, and we found out that they are not directly considered by the system because of the update. So, the points accumulate at the same time that the points of the mission above, in that example, 250 fights won with at least 2 All Stars in hand.

Therefore, it works like this:

For the 125 fights mission to be considered by the system, you have to achieve the superior mission, the 250 fights mission, and then the 125 fights mission will be achieved too. Anyway, the players who achieved the 50 fights mission after the update will not be affected by this, and will have to achieve the 125 fights mission before the 250 fights mission, in a normal way.

And when the higher level mission is achieved, the intermediate mission is achieved too, no problem in that. For instance, if you achieved the 50 fights mission, the 15 fights mission has been updated and achieved right away.

Please do not worry, this is no glitch. The arrival of the intermediate missions caused this mishap. The missions’ evolution is still logical, and everything will find its right place just playing

So good game to you all!

It’s already back to school time in Clint City and this year it’s set to be quite a shake-up. Leaving the comfort of their Academy, the Skeelz take to the streets to bring about peace and harmony… Well, good luck to them! And the first to throw themselves into the fray are Aylen, Redra, Chiara, Danae, Jay and Liam. Get these characters in the shop’s New Blood and Action packs.

Hello all,

We've changed the phase time for the last fight : now you have five minutes extratime to end your match properly at the end of the 20 minutes timer when you can challenge your opponents. Kate will tell you how many time is left to end your match during this extratime period.

Some more improvements today:

- The points won after a defeat have been decreased from 25 to 20
- The points won after a draw have been increased from 30 to 40
- The points won after a Revenge have been increased from 10 to 15
- The points won after a run of victories / defeats reversed (more points for a run of victories than for a run of defeats)
- The time per round have been decreased from 1.30 minute to 1.15 (max)

Have fun

Hello all,

You must have noticed a big change it the battle room list...
A new game mode has appeared in Urban Rivals: Deathmatch mode.
We wanted to offer you a kind of super fast mini DT with a limited number of players.
The DM points rules are different with several tricks inspired by Modern Warfare 2 => persecution, revenge, serial victories, etc.

It's still a beta for the moment. The goal is to do a sort of "life size" test and see how it goes, what would be relevant to add in the ranking, etc.

Know glitches :
We have noticed that there was the grey screen glitch in the flash if you expire while selecting your pillz. Just refresh the page.
It will be fixed very soon.

Improvements :
Complete rules, rankings, messages in the feed, special missions, division system to group players together according to their level.

Please, share your thoughts and opinion (no off-board posts please)

Hello (again) all,

Maybe you have noticed the rankings and thought you were travelling through another dimension. Don’t worry, you’re not in the twilight zone. Some players have particularly high scores in the Month and Overall rankings. The glitch has been fixed.

BUT! we have to do a small operation (you won’t notice it, Don’t worry) which will fix the wrong score already registered in the system.
Rankings should come back to normal by the end of the day and nothing will be lost.

Sorry for this glitch

We just added a new function that you can find in your guild configuration page.
It allows you to automatically remove members (& postulants) that haven't played the game in the past X days (X= 100 or 31).

We hope you'll find that useful.

From time to time, as the game expands and the needs of the players increase, it becomes necessary for the administration staff to seek out dedicated players with excellent language skills, and a strong spirit of volunteerism. Failing our ability to find anyone who meets those criteria, we then look for people with a history for taking a lot of abuse. ;-]

It is my distinct privilege to welcome the newest member of the Moderator Team for the English community: Commoner-LoA! Many of you have had cause to talk with him through events, both as an organizer and an opponent. He has a keen nose for smelling when your remaining damage reducers aren't going to overcome a poison throw, and a ready ear for requests of assistance.

Please join me in welcoming Commoner-LoA to the team. He has a lot to get used to in the first couple weeks, so please... Go easy on him. (Ha! Just kidding. Send him your spam!!) There are a few notes to remember, and I'll plagiarize Mermaid to post them:

1. Do not ask to become a moderator. Admins seek out people when they see the need. The best people for the job are usually the ones who would never seek it out. (Paraphrased from Plato.)

2. People are not selected because of level, guild, events or any other criteria. They are selected because they have stood out as outstanding. (Sometimes in left field, but out-standing, nonetheless.)

3. There are no set criteria for the moderator position. It's often boring, tedious work with little thanks, and no awesome super-powers. Really. See the first two notes above.

4. Being a moderator does not make you a programmer. We are players who volunteer, not admins who work for the game. We don't make cards, make clintz, see how many pillz you use in a battle, give out free cards like candy, or bend spoons with out mind. (Well, except Slava N on that last one. And let me tell you, it's a great party trick.)

Any questions or comments, send them to Commoner! Other than that, please feel free to welcome him below. ;-D

With congratulations and regards,
LOA Daigon

Hi everyone,

Some of you may already have spotted the new Guild Chat tab on the guild page...

We've just added a live chat room for each Guild, available either on the guild page or below the flash game so you can chat and play at the same time

Let us know if you have any issue with it.

Hello all

Discovering the merciless world of Clint City is generally tough for new players. In order to help them, we have made small changes in the semi-evo stats of cards available in starter decks.
It won't change anything for our veterans but we prefer to let you know about it.
These cards are a bit more playable and easier to use but they won't change anything in competitive game modes.

Have fun

To strengthen their numbers and outdo their opponents, the Clint City clans are in no way opposed to scanning the four corners of the globe, or further still, to unearth new talent. And so the Sentinel welcome Zhang, fresh from Hong Kong, to their ranks, while the Sakrohm make room for Sigma, just back from the stellar reaches. Meanwhile, the more traditional Rescue clan recruits Benson, while the Uppers join forces with Jonas.

While some of the clans rely on muscles to make a difference, others look to the power of the intellect. It’s hard to say which will be the winning strategy but the fight should be something else. While the All Stars welcome athletic Essie to their numbers, the Jungo turn to Ronald and his powers of deduction. Meanwhile, the Nightmare can now rely on Mawpin, while Orlando joins forces with the Ulu Watu.

The streets of Clint City are not exactly known for their peace and quiet but the confusion might just go up a notch or two in the coming days thanks (or due to) this week’s new recruits. The GHEIST welcomes Astrid and her acid-spitting worms, while the Junkz can now count on the fearsome Haze. Meanwhile, the Freaks present Piotr and the Fang Pi Clang see the arrival of Sayura.

After years of struggle, the Roots have come to the conclusion that they still haven’t achieved their aim. But fortunately, they can now rely on Ojibway and his ancestral magic to lend more weight to their arguments. Meanwhile, with the arrival of Taljion the Piranas have put some order back in their ranks, while the Skeelz welcome Jessica and Thormund joins forces with La Junta.

Hello everybody,

As our community gets bigger, the need for a new moderator became obvious. After some tough scouting, here we are again.

Let us all welcome our newest EN moderator. I bet many will say “it’s about time”, but hey, better late than never. Let’s give a very warm welcome to Xavier_52.

I believe he deserve a good old spamming just like what the other moderators experienced as they got promoted. I give you all the permission to send all, and I mean all, your questions to him now. (okay okay, maybe I am just being mean – send most, not all, but yeah, all will be alright too) He he.

Some need to know:
1. You Don’t ask and come to us to be a moderator. We will ask you and come to you.
2. No, we Don’t promote people just because they are nice and full of spice.
3. There are no set criteria for the moderator position, so Don’t ask.
4. Being a moderator does not give you benefits over other players. No inside information.

This week the Uppers welcome a real hero to their ranks - the infamous Wayne Stark. Meanwhile, the Sakrohm can now count on fearsome head hunter, Sol Hona, while Hystriz joins forces with the Jungo and Ficcanaso makes himself at home with the Montana.
