Do you consider yourself a DT pro or close to it?
OR Do you know anyone who is?

Then I want to hear from you

You are probably wondering what this is all about, as you all can see our community's DT guide is way too OUTDATED (It almost makes me cry looking at it).

So if anyone is interested, I want us to work as a community in creating a new and updated guide. Let us help our beginners find the ropes.

Spread the word. Depending on how well this project goes, I will be willing to give a little something for the participants' trouble.

Hoping to get this project started and done sooner rather than later.

What is the Daily Tournament (DT)?

 Despite its name, DT is actually a tournament that happens every alternate hour which last for an hour every day.

Daily schedule based on your time zone, GMT +13:
[12:00 - 13:00], [14:00 - 15:00], [16:00 - 17:00], [18:00 - 19:00], [20:00 - 21:00], [22:00 - 23:00]
[00:00 - 01:00], [02:00 - 03:00], [04:00 - 05:00], [06:00 - 07:00], [08:00 - 09:00], [10:00 - 11:00].

 To play, all you have to do is go to one of these rooms: Type 1, Type 2, or ELO – fight using a valid deck and score as many battle points as you can during the duration of the tournament.

The key to success: (Results may vary)

1. Golden Rule: Play Fast (Win fast / Lose fast) & Don’t quit

“DT is not about who got the most wins - It's about points accumulated per minute regardless of the outcome. Always think about saving time off your game. Eg: 3x 2 minutes with 10 points (lose) will be the same as 1x 6 minutes game with 30 points (win)”

2. Choose your deck wisely:

→ a. Low star count:
- (T1) Less than 25 stars deck
- (T2) 9 – 10 cards with 26 star count

“You earn more points if your characters defeat a higher level opponent”

→ b. Use high damage cards (Aim 2 hits K.O)

→ c. Limit your deck to 1 of the following OR avoid these cards completely:

- Damage reducers

“This will depend on the card – consider the card’s usefulness in your deck”

- (+) Life ability

“In DT, it’s about the cards not the clans... Don’t be afraid to use clans with + life bonus provided you have the 2 hits K.O tactics in mind... On the other hand, - life is always acceptable as an option”

- Permanent ELO banned cards

“For every permanent ELO banned card in your draw, 2 points will be removed from your battle points as a penalty”

3. Extra Battle Strategy:

→ a. Save Pillz for K.O (Adds + 2 to your battle pts at the end of your match)
→ b. Type 1 vs Type 2 (Different rooms but both can be used for DT equally – just pick whatever suits your style)

4. Don’t be afraid to experiment and find the deck that works best for you

5. Have fun

DT Tac Deck" target="_blank">http://www.urban-rivals.com/en/presets/?id_DT Tac Deck With this deck I typically get in the top 10 of daily tournament, but never have gotten higher than 3. Something I need to adjust in it to get that coveted number 1 slot or do I just need more skill and/or luck to make it happen?

Hello guys, I made a La Junta deck for DTs but something feels wrong with it.
If you can give me any tips on who to swap and what strategy to use with that kind of deck, I'll be very greatful.
PS : I'm pretty new to junta and this is just a deck I randomly put together.
Thanks in advance

Hello, I am thinking about getting back into the game and used to enjoy ELO, I have old decks for the All-Stars, Skeetz, Montana, and Jungo, I was wondering if any of these decks are still doing well and what builds people are using

I usually use it in Standard, but I think it could work in Extended. My best placement with this deck is 13th in Standard.

The current ban list is getting old and feel needs a change. Certain clans are definitely stronger now and really do need a slight disadvantage when using there obnoxious cards.

Cards I would suggest putting penalties on :

Raven - 5 Obvious reasons.
Mokra - 2 Still worth using but just slightly to strong at the moment.
Lady - 2 Again still worth using but again slightly to strong.
Mechakolos - 5 Obvious. I would even shout 10 but you have penalties on to many GHEIST anyway.
Naele - 2 Strong, not worth 5 but strong.
Haze - 2, you don't realize how strong this card is until you go against it.
Daddy Jones - 2 Strong, deserves it.

That's just off the top of my head also to come off the list or less penalties :

Nanook - 0 No reason to be on and with Daddy Jones going on there is no need.
Taljion - 0 Never did understand it.
Lou - 0 No reason to be on it.
Gil - 2 Not as strong as before.
Striker - 2 Not as strong as before, was over hyped anyway.
Emeth - 2 Emeth is currently never used other than Fight club, -2 is fair.
Oshitsune - 0 Not even ELO banned anymore, -5 points in DT is well to far.
Bonnie Ld - 0 It literally has 0 use in the game currently and might see use in DT.
Smokey Cr - 2 I don't see why it's 10. Mono Piranas was never tier 1 in DTs ever.
Lamar Cr - 5 Currently has no place in any game mode, might be useful at 5, probably not.
Vickie Cr - 5 Might sound crazy but with Mona at 5 and Avola at 2 it would make sense to see her back in DTs.

First DT win!

1st badna0 from guild URBAN MADNESS with 682 battle points won 1 870 Clintz + 1 Credit.

Hi, I'm badna0, and I'm a pretty avid DT player. Not a tournament victor (yet), but have managed respectable top 10 finishes, a few top 5's, and a personal best of 803 bp. I'd like to give a few pieces of advice for dt's.

Trying to improve on the previous iteration of this guide: http://www.urban-rivals.com/en/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&forum_page=0&id_subject=2049903&subject_page=0#answers

Since the abolishment of T1/T2, I don't feel a lot of the DT rules mentioned in the guide are as relevant as they used to be. I'd like to outline a few principles for constructing and playing a good DT deck.

-----

1. Building a deck: Aiming for a higher star count (27-30-ish stars) is usually a good idea. A good deck simply needs several nukes with good round winning potential in order to put 2hko pressure.

================================
Links to good decks:
First Place-In Spyke We Trust V2 (standard)
DT Standard Conquered (standard)
E PER LA PRIMA VOLTA!!!!!! (extended)
================================
The strongest decks that I've seen have these higher star counts. Notice how some of these decks can be relatively cheap, too. (

Tips on how to improve while still keeping the deck cheap for newer players would be appreciated! (besides the obvious Lydia to Wayne Stark)

A thread reminded me of them classic 'I can't afford a dt deck yet i'm a titan' whiners so I made a deck which is easy, affordable, and cheap like Medivhs...cough.

This was amazing at the time
Tiny Cuts Run Deep

which will years later leads to 16 star decks as more solid 2 stars arrived

and this cheap DT deck that could pay for itself in 2-3 tourneys

Instead of making a whole thread for 1 preset why not just make 1 thread for every preset? I will look over your presets and rate them and we can share knowledge and opinions on each other.

I'l start it off with a few a made just for this thread.
deleted - Standard deck. Uppers/Sakrohm
deleted - Extended deck. All Stars/Sakrohm
deleted - Extended deck. Montana.
MB - Deck 4 - Standard deck. Vortex/Berzerk.

Let's get this thread rolling!

What is a good, competitive standard tourney deck for about 25,000? Also, just curious - what are the dominant decks in standard right now? Standard would be the cheapest and easiest format, as opposed to extended, correct? Thanks!
