I am interested in knowing how much of people's life went wasted playing videogames.

My friend has played League of Legends for 2 years, and has spent approximately 4,000 hours in League of Legends, which is roughly 6 months of his life.

I have made some calculations of how much I've played:

Approx. 600 hours into pokemon (calculated off game time)
Approx. 5,000 hours into Urban Rivals.
Approx. 4,380 hours into Call of Duty.
Approx. 2,000 hours into various other games (flash games, etc.)
Approx. 533 hours into League of Legends.
Added up: 12,513 hours.

Calculation: 12,513 divided by 24 divided by 12= 43.44 months of gaming, which is approximately 3 years, 7 months, and 14 days of gaming.

So end result: I spent 3 years, 7 months, and 14 days so far wasted on videogames.

This is only a rough estimate, and I made this to make people realize how long they spend playing videogames over whatever else they should be doing

I wonder if any of you have your own favorite cards? Cards that pull on heartstrings, for example cards that you started with, cards that you worked your level 5 butt off to get, cards that you sold your leaders for because of Slify's reviews, anything. I have several myself.

I started way back in 07, where UR gave you random cards instead of preset starter cards. Like everyone else, Hugo was probably my favorite card at the time. He let me beat level 37s (!) through my excellent math skills.

I stopped playing UR eventually, but I came back in '09 to the release of Shann, my absolute favorite card. I got her in a pack, and I was amazed by her art, her story, and her overall strength as a card. Until this day I have fond memories of smashing players with Shann, along with my Lennox, Naykee, BB Cool J, Laetitia and Platoona, I was unstoppable.

I then stopped playing UR again, but came back in 2011. Shann is still my favorite card, but I came back and actually wanted to start playing seriously, DT ELO and all the other modes. I scrolled around the presets, sold all my good cards (aside from Shann), and spent 11k on a La Junta deck. Best decision of my life. I played ELO for the first time, and I managed to score 1266 with Isatis, Chiro, Bryan, and a few lame cards (I used Tank, lol). To this day, Bryan is my favorite male card. Unfortunately I don't use him in ELO anymore due to Wyre, but he'll understand.

Round 3 of an ELO match, my initiative and with ~ 1 minute left on the timer, I received a message that the battle had timed out.
I didn't leave the game or change windows, so I can't see how the timer would have run out as I was doing the math on covering my opponents pillz for round 4.
Anyone else had this happen, or am I going crazy?

Anyone ever encountered an issue when you're using mol points to buy credits? i got an error message saying that the session has expired, and that's after i bought 250 creds, which as of right now, have not yet been credited to my account. already sent a message to the staff, so hopefully that gets sorted out asap.

in any case, has anyone experienced this before? and how long does it take before they give you the credits?

I was wondering on other peoples feedback on the idea of the Perma Bans being un-banned. I mean cards like the CR powerhouses and the poison damagers should stay banned.

I'm talking about unbanning cards like Askai, Lea and other such cards. With the huge changesin meta game I thought It would be a good experiment, redevelop the perma ban list as it need for the format with all of the changes.

I would say they should do this after the new Huracan clan has at least 12 characters so they take shape as well at least as a half deck. This would settle out confusion on that clan and allow the meta to mold to where it is balanced.

Azgroth, Estalt, Ghumbo, Glorg, Ielena, Kolos, Nistarok, and Pan is my current mono Nightmare deck. Are there any improvements i could make on this? all suggestions are welcome

Just wondering, have you guys ever blacklisted someone? or have been blacklisted? if so for what reason.
I have never Blacklisted anyone, i guess nobody crossed that threshold.
Though i have been blacklisted. The guy thought i was cheating when my 2 pill Tobbie beat his 4 pill Titus. LOL. Since he had blacklisted me, I never got to explain him the basic maths of UR. LOL

This seems strange to me, because I have never seen a description change before. Has this happened to any card before, and does anyone know why?

Who wins if both cards have same attack? Is it totally random, cause from what i have seen it doesnt make a difference if you are attacking or defending in this situation.

(this is mostly from an ELO perspective, but applies to other game modes as well)

Huracan is an interesting clan, with a revolutionary bonus for sure. We'll be seeing things like -1 dmg per life left/3 etc. However, I don't think this bonus is balanced. It's (from a paper perspective, I have never played this clan) broken, especially in half decks. It's metagame-shifting.

With the Huracan bonus you are guaranteed a +14/12 attack on the first turn. With this bonus simply in play, it discourages the traditional olding and encourages you to push for early damage. This can of course be easily abused, Huracan players can old with little risk in half decks (in case of low-life fights, you have your other half), and your opponent is already in a bad position. Another tactic is to use a powerful wall at the start, like Nellie, to preserve your life pints through mid game and maintain an attack advantage. Not to mention these cards synergies insanely with big + life cards like Kenny Cr, Zhu Tang, Nyema, Jungo and everything else.

They aren't without their faults, especially since they are weakened by late-game. However I think it is a small price for the early game advantage and the exploitable life gain tactics. Only time will tell, I guess.

So, I just notice in the fight club that their is no option for a private room where my guildmates and I can fight.. or is our guild the only one having this trouble? will they ever bring that function back? I want to fight some of my guildmates but the Fight Club ain't helping me since I can't see them most of the time we want to fight..

also, is there an onsite clock in UR? cause I'm really getting confuse most of the time on which timezone to follow here.. it would be really great if we only use one timezone like call it URT(Urban Rival Time) and the clock will be place below the fair play smiley on the side bar cause of the Colosseum thingy event.. I always seem to miss it
