Once I was neck and neck in wins with the 1st place guy because we both had 6. Probably the last few minutes of the match he was about to get a tie and a loss while I got a loss. So it ended up 6/0/1 for me and 6/1/1 for him and if my opponent didn't take so long to make his move I could have gotten into another game before it was over.
I think it is kinda stupid that your opponents can determine whether or not you win the deathmatch since they can take their time each round.

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (E M E R A L D)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

TagoNgTago

I suggest using a clan you really like, or are suited too (same thing i guess)
Whether its t1 DM or t2 DM, try to think of getting ahead of your opponent. So like what AKG said, having DR wont hurt if you have them.

I agree with Lyss, aside from that..

A failed 1HKO will definitely make someone a sitting target. Only go for it when you are sure of it.
However a successful bluff with a 1HKO can make your opponent waste enough pillz to make them the sitting target.

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (Force Majeure)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

SirElric

Failed 1HKO can make you a sitting target you know!

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (SirElric)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

0 VEN0M

Also you just gotta know how to manage your pillz and make sure you study your cards

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (0 VEN0M)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

Fanta Pants

Hello ko =battle over=new battle=more points go 4 kos

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (Fanta Pants)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

M-Bison

If you can get a K.O go for it, no point wasting time.

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (M-Bison)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

yk-lyss

Umm winning every game will win you the death match. It is like any other game mode. You are right in a sense that those who blindly go for the ko will lose to smarter players who will cover, but the better player will win the death match. For me, type two is easy. Death match is like survivor, but with quicker games. I have gotten from level 80 to where I am now by death matching, meaning that I've won over 100.

In short, play fast, don't be stupid, and win as many games as you can. Just like the daily tournaments

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (yk-lyss)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=1496548&language=2

Force Majeure

I always go for the KO. 1 quick KO would lead to very easy and quick points and more matches. So if you want to win and win fast, you gotta think outside the box in order to defeat your opponent.

On every turn you make, you have to keep your opponent guessing. scare him/her by doing the unexpected. Which brings me to this...

DON'T ALWAYS GO FOR A K.O! K.O's are pretty worthless in DeathMatch and you should'nt waste your time trying to. just bring your opponent's life low enough so you can win. Big hitters and DR's will do the trick.
