Lafoote, thanks a lot for the info mate! I will take that into account when playing. As for Futoshi Ld, I am disappointed in Fang Pi Clang and I dropped them. They are powerful when played against some generic setup, but they are never played against a generic setup in ELO or in Survivor. They suck against power manipulation, attack manipulation, SoA, SoB, and DR, and there is no single deck that doesn't run at least three decent cards with some of these abilities in every possible hand. So...

After struggling to get to 4 wins in Survivor ELO and 1060 points in ELO, I replaced Fang Pi Clang and I am now running the following setup:

Elvis, Kawamashi, Lola, Melanie, Flanagan, Gibson, Qubik, Tremorh.

I prefer a 2 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 4 - 4 - 4 setup because I consistently draw excelent hands with it. So, if you miss 3 consecutive days, you lose 10 pts total.
I usually stop at 1200 and get 500-750 clintz based on weekly participation. 1300 is more time consuming.
Generally speaking, later in the week when more players have scored, it becomes easier to move up.
A couple underused card/deck thoughts:
When he rolls around again, get your Futoshi Ld. FPC is not extremely popular in ELO but Futoshi and Shifou together are the strongest set of equalizers from any non-SoB clan. They fear no bonus AND have equal or higher power than most everything else.
Hilly Billy is more or less a cheap, ELO legal Kolos.
1. If you don't play ELO for a few days, your score will slowly revert back to 1,000. Can someone tell me how many days exactly, and at what rate your ELO score would start deteriorating? I currently have an ELO score of 1,217 and I don't want to ruin it by playing and losing . I could use the credits and the clintz. So I was thinking about waiting it out, but I have to know if that's an option at this point.

2. Does anyone actually have a vague idea of how many clintz one should expect to get with an ELO score of just over 1,200? There are percentages explained in the rules, but since I don't know the precise quota based on ELO score, I can't really tell.

I reached 1,200 ELO with it yesterday Now I'm saving up for Clover and Eebiza to replace Noemi and Gibson but that's going to be an uphill battle.

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (slav.georgiev.3)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2

DUC-j00p

Btw my name isnt DUC its the clanname im j00p

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (DUC-j00p)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2

LB_Abnormal

The best key, quickly, to making a good elo/event deck, is looking at your worst case scenarios. You want to minimize this as much as possible. Make your worst hands winnable, and your best hands VERY winnable. Look at your deck, and think "what would happen if it got matched against..."X". Make X any popular deck.
first when youre making an elo deck you must look at the banns/unbanns that week
which clan(s) counters the current dominant clans / characters?
which cards counters the current dominant clans/ characters?

for example if Askai/ troohmpah is unbanned, maybe u will reconsider using Gretchen or Eddie
or if there are no or little cards banned from GHEIST/Roots u maybe wont use cards like Jautya or Coby

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (DUC-j00p)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2

Hihihilalala

When choosing the clans for your deck, I think it is important to take note of "how to win" with that particular clan. For example, clans like Junkz and Piranhas focus more like winning 3 out of the 4 rounds while clans like Pussycats and Freaks can focus more on getting a hit through and hiding (behind DRs or walls).
So it would depend on which style of playing you prefer.

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2

no-reply@urban-rivals.com (Hihihilalala)

http://www.urban-rivals.com/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&id_subject=2243902&language=2
