I'm a player returning after 3 years. I sold all my cards because I wanted to have a fresh start.
I have about 580k clintz now + another 80k-120k spread out in the 8 useless cards I kept. Would highly appreciate any suggestions on what clans I should be looking at or some public preset decks to draw inspiration from. Inflation has really exploded since my time away and all the cards I knew to buy are millions of clintz now. Really confused atm.

I'd say with the wheel as it stands today, you'd have a better chance of getting tickets 3 times in 50 spins than you'd have actually coming out in the red. Unless you kept spinning bankrupts, 5k clintz and the very lowest commons (which are still on the market for 10k+ at different times throughout the day) you'll come out ahead - likely 100ks if not 1ms ahead from 50 spins.

If you haven't done the arcade yet, its highly recommended that you do. It gives a lot of good cards, that you could either use or sell to use the money in the spin wheel.
The spin wheel nowadays is a money machine. You will want to spend at least your 50 daily spins. You could sell the cards you won and keep the profit.
Doing that I think you will soon get the money to build competitive decks to enjoy every content on the game.

I'm a returning player too. I had around 120k and bunch of my cards. Went to wheel, now I gained around 50 mil + clintz. Still, depends on how lucky you are.

Complete the whole Arcade mode, it gives nice rewards which include LD cards, credits, crypto, etc. For example, I gained about 15m Clintz after completing Arcade (selling all the cards I got + buying packs with credits/crypto and selling those cards).
Also, you should spin the wheel. Currently the wheel is the best way to get more Clintz for "free" because it's very easy to gain profit. It's basically guaranteed profit, you would have to be very unlucky to lose money in the long run while doing wheel spins. If you don't feel secure about spinning the wheel yet, then just complete Arcade first so that you end up with a lot of Clintz.

Yeah - totally agree with the arcade. Plus, you can get some missions done that are a pain in live play.

Ah I'm not super-pro or anything but.. I think Hive is a really nice clan to get into- sort of middle of the road when it comes to attack manipulation. I think one thing to consider even more so with Raptors being a relatively new clan in addition to Nightmare and Piranas being out there is to make sure your deck composition isn't overly reliant on bonuses, and I think decent power matters a little more than it used to? (At least from personal experience because of more cancelling effects being out there).
As people mentioned, the wheel is a really good way to earn money, but only if you have money to spare (highly recommended that you buy packs when a big fat character is dropped, and sell them early while prices are overinflated). Best of luck!
