Personnaly i dont have alot of Clintz. This means that i genrally have to play Elo to survive, because i cant win against High-powered elo banned cards, and cant afford them to use for myself.
My main problem now though is piranas. I personnaly liked playing attack manipulating decks such as Uppers and All Stars because i could get a strong deck for only 8000 clints or less. But now it seems like half of the people i play have pirana decks! Their ability is devastating! Imo it destroys Montana, Uppers most All Star, Sakrohm, Bangers and Ulu-Watu and Rescue. Junks and Sentinel are hindered drastically too! No healing for Jungo, no poisen for Freaks! Fang Pi Clang and La Junta can say goodbye to their damage bonus. Roots and GHIEST loose there stop ability and Vortex and Pussy Cats have no bonus to fall back on when they die.
THATS ALL THE CLANS?!?!
This would be understandable if Piranas characters wernt so powerful themselves, and sure they have very few 8 power BUT!!! They have pill manipulation!! Pill manipulation is a super-strong but risky form of attack manipulation. Hawkins Noel (2 star) 7 power with +2 pillz, provided you win is like +14 attack?!! And Scrubb in a mono deck is like +24 attack?!?!?!??!?!?!?
DOES THIS CLAN HAVE ANY WEAKNESS? If they do please let me know, if someone can suggest a deck to counter them for under 10k clintz I would be very gratefull. Thanks for reading
Dont listen to these newbs. Piranas have 0 weakness to other clans... except for skeelz, and you cant play skeelz on a budget. Piranas do have weakness though not to clan but certain cards. For example Askai is a beast against them... and kinda weak vs other clans. He basicly becomes Ghumbo vs them. Ontop of that alot of piranas cards are only good if in the right scenario. Example Tula is weak vs any card with +attack ability...
Lawler is a noob, ignore him. Piranas requires careful pilling and generally have worse base stats than others (cept bonus reliant clans like Rescue.) As long as you're pilling right and using cards with decent base stats, you should be fine against them.
Why would a group of pirates that sail the seas name their clan after a fresh water fish?
Seriously, I'm getting sick of seeing this clan in every game mode. I know some of it has to do with a Bonnie card. The Bluegills may fair well in ELO, but I can tell you in the other game modes, they are no big threat.
I see people playing Prianas all the time in Deathmatch, and I also see them lose alot.
Lol jackiemxxt then you havent seen them play well. also qq more SkilledWill. clans that can beat piranas-Junkz, Ulu Watu, Sakrohm, Skeelz, Nightmare, Gheist, Roots, Sentinel, freaks, junta, fpc. none of them really rely on a bonus to win a fight, so SOB doesn't majorly impede them. maybe you just need to play better instead of whining on the forums....
@Lawlersaurus - sure obviously no clan is completely weak to another clan, but each clan has weaknesses against staples of another clan, then we say that that clan has a weakness against the clan with the staples.
lol jackie you probably won't see them win in deathmatch right now...I know I wasn't playing to win. Once I got the 15 wins mission done, I just fury my highest damage card and let them win. But yeah clans whose staples are high power and good abilities do well against Piranas. Going off Thor:
Junkz - Gibson, Fuzz, Rowdy, Gil
Ulu Watu - Nanook, Stanly, Gaia
Sakrohm - Murray, Jautaya, Sigma (I would put Uranus, but her base stats aren't too good despite her awesome DR)
Skeelz - self explanatory...a bunch of 8 power with nice abilities
Nightmare - Azgorth, Dieter/Glorg (Allstops do decent against piranas since they're pretty dependent on their abilities.), Pan
GHEIST - Draheera, Toro, Rolph (I know they're banned, but still good), Anibal
Roots - Their staple halfdeck - Noodile Cr, Yookie, Rico
Freaks - Olga (huge threat to Piranas despite low damage), Bogdan, Grudj, Baldovino (I never see him anymore though, sad)
You see the pattern - 7-8 power + an ability is pretty rough on Piranas, you really need to pill properly and do your math on pill manipulations. I listed two 6/8s, as they're a huge threat given Piranas' lack of damage in general (You usually have to win the other 3 rounds to get the win)
Hey SOE Thor I don't whine over a rundandant yet mildly amusing game, I simply call it like I see it. I'm a bit confused as to why people are so obsessed to accomplish missions with Piranas to try to get a "rare" card that technically does not exist.
But I guess I have to be the "bestest" gamer to understand.
Anyway, people keep bringing their Piranas into DM, and the rest of us will enjoy beating them and level up quick. DM has been easy lately with all these people bringing in their Piranas.
