"If you don't play ELO for a few days your ELO value will slowly go back to 1000." I have a few queries about this rule if anyone could kindly help 1. After how long before your ELO score starts decreasing? 2. At what rate does your ELO score decrease?

Thanks guys for the response If I do recall, last time my score decreased after a day of inactivity, I'm pretty sure it was by 2 points. @ Unicorn_WMD: Just to be a Maths-Troll, using 2^n would mean zero days of inactivity (aka no inactivity) would be: 2^0=1 and thus still cause a decrease of 1 score when fully active. ...but I know what you were getting at. Just trollin'

Also you won't go below 1000 if you stopped on 1005, for example, and then didn't play for 3 days. You'd simply be at 1000 again. And you can also increase if you're below 1000.
