LOW STAR COUNT T2 NORMAL Piranas DECK
The golden preset:
Before I start explaining the rest, and to quell any doubts, check out this link that shows my 11 star Piranas hand beating a 19 star hand that has both Guru Cr AND Vickie Cr but more importantly earning 28pts from the fight (double what I would have won with equal star count) :
Playstyle tips will come if questioned.
You can optionally take Trey out, but sometimes I like to leave him in. He's good against dr's and for bluffing (everyone always thinks he will 5 pill)
This preset has won the T2 daily tournament and placed top 10 multiple times, and placed top 25 countless times.
It is all based on pill manipulation, and you should play it as such. Never start the fight intending to knock someone out. Getting a KO is just a bonus.
No offense, but the player who played that hand against you, was quite terrible to be honest...
If they had've fulled pilled Vickie you couldn't have won...
It either went you beat his Jautya with Hawkins first or you used Ulrich on His Guru. Then if you used Scubb, why in hell would he only 4 Pill Vickie? If he used all his pills = auto win. Nice deck, but that win was quite lucky, or quite dumb by the opponent.
CapAmericaMOB is correct. Only permanent staff bans reduce the point count.
I still suggest people new to the strategy put smokey cr in if they have it. That will make it a little easier till you get the hang of pill manipulation. Then take smokey cr out for the extra points =)
Trey is another char you could consider taking out, but he does have some value despite looking terrible. Great against DR's and people always think he will use 5 pills and overpill accordingly. Remember this deck gets its power from pill difference, so trey is decent =)
@Carnage-Time there is always the "what if they did this" argument. The point of the screenshot is to demonstrate that pill manipulation hurts. Not that some people get lucky and others don't. The high winrate with the deck confirms the ongoing nature of the strength of the deck vs a variety of opponents.
But in DT's i can use almost any deck and have a 70+% win rate. The amount of players i face who just don't play smart make it quite easy. I played with a mish mash of Pirhanas today, none would be in any other pirhanas deck. And i still have 42 in the tourney.
