Hey folks, just started playing around the 1st of Oct, so still new, enjoying the game so far.
Realizing that its going to take a really solid deck to accomplish anything in this game (including just to get a halfway decent amount of clintz), I considered this powerhouse deck.
Total = 10*
Jane Ramba 3*
Total = 15*
Constructive criticism welcome.
The main idea is to have large powerhouse characters, where most of them can act as a good bluff card, leaving my opponent open to one of the devastating punishments of another card in hand.
If you must combine these clans, try picking cards that are good round 1/2 berzerk, and good finisher with la junta, and courage/revenge loses value (junta confidence is ok but I don't think there are any) because you only have 2 rounds to play them, making them very predictable.
I don't particularly have to do Junta, as I stated earlier, I don't even have any of the Junta cards, I just see Junta as a heavily damaging clan. This might just be my noobish first impression. And yes I would like to do relatively well in tournaments/survival/elo with this deck so that I can get a decent amount of clintz. So if Junta isn't a good way to go, then I wouldn't mind turning my attention to other good possibilities.
I chose Naginata because I got smacked with her once and it ruined the whole match for me, it was one of those "who in R&D lets something like that print?!" moment. But I have learned from MTG that big and stupid powerful doesn't always mean "that which wins the game", so if she's not as good as I think she is, please enlighten me.
I never considered that both sides should be relatively balanced, but I see that having a 3 Zerk / 1 Junta hand with the idea in the first post would probably put me at quite the disadvantage, good to know.
@ Taewonbro La Junta are a very solid clan I find in any format. But they really shine in Mono. If you are serious about the clan then this deck will be great for Elo and DTs
Jane Ramba In Elo, Laura in DT
Gatline/Isatis (I prefer Gatline)
I went with this for the final result. It has alot of manipulation mixed with a ton of power. So far its working great, out of 10 games 8 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss in ELO.
^ Well Elo is a more defensive type of place, more stratergy then DT. You basically Defend and Attack while DT is all about Attacking. Basically Heal cards and Damage Reducers are Defending cards. While High damaging cards with abilities that help them win are Offence cards. The deck you listed is very good for both formats although I must agree with wats_happenin. Gatline to Arnie in DT and the reason is Arnie can 2HKO with 2 La Junta and 1 Bezerk and if he loses he gets his pills back which makes him extreamly good for quick wins in DT.
