Both clans are heavily dependent on their bonus so I don't think they work well with a 5/5 split. I would only play either Montana or FPC with at least 5 characters (5/3 split).

Gianfranco is bad for 1/2 deck because his ability doesn't work without his bonus and Mona is not good at all without the bonus. Zhu Tang is a lot weaker without his bonus.
