I achieved my best: 1365 via a mono junta deck too! It consists of:

Ray
Gatling
Milena
Sabia
Thormund
Wyre
Dean
Brianna/Isatis

However this was a long time ago and now I have come to like Arnie and Jane ramba cr, might use her in this lineup:

Raven
Thormund
Jane Ramba cr
Iguana Samson
Brianna
Scooty
Arnie
Dean/ Tolliver

With a few exceptions, your cards drop straight to shit-tier against SOA. You should probably know that. Second, a lot of your cards (especially Dean and Trish) are vulnerable to attack manipulation. While that typically isn't LJ's strong suit, Scooty and Gatline can help you towards overcoming that problem.

@TheOPG - I do feel that SOA pain. Badly. Actually, the only reason why I'm not using Stop cards is because I don't come up against SOA decks frequently these days, compared to 2008-2010, when mono-GHEIST and Roots were really rampant. Montana decks do rock me hard, true. I'll revise this and playtest your recommendations! Thank you!

I think LJ was not so vulnerable in front of SOA like in the old days. With Raven, Brianna, Arnie, Curtiss etc, these cards have high and stable power than the old cards. LJ is very powerful with recent releases and mono-LJ is super common in high ELO now.

@Openball - The only Stop card we had was Dacote, who was really shaky against power and attack manipulators. Then there came Nahomi and Victoria, who were solid enough against SOA, then Curtis, then Iguana Samson, who are 8-pow. Then came the onslaught of new Support characters, and they rocked mono-Junta - Isatis and Thormund brought 9+ power to the mono; Sabia is an amazing sub for Jane Ramba Cr, Pilzken is obscene, and Raven is still unbelievably not Elo-banned. I really like how we regularly get 8-pow cards now, it's awesome! I would love a Protection: Bonus or Protection: Power card though. I'm going off on a tangent here, but do you think we can expect a Protection: Attack entry into UR? Would that be too strong?

@TheOPG - Oh, sorry. It's supposed to be Protection: Damage, my mind veered off. Davis is good, but an 8:5 Protection: Damage card would be ideal. That, or an 8-pow Protection: Power.

Do you mean base 5 damage? Because Davis is usually running around dealing 5 damage.

At first I thought an 8/1 La Junta 2* with PP&D would be a neat thing, but then I realized it would be the final nail in Wardog's coffin and I'm tired of old ability-less cards being "updated".

Yep, base 5. Or 4. If they can make a 8-pow PP&D that would be awesome, but I want 8-pow 2*. I know how it feels to have more and more cards getting obsolete, and although Wardog is still pretty solid there are now many 2* who can sub for him (I'll take Thormund over him any day), but IDK... I want someone to carry the 8-pow torch.

Although, now that we have 3 9-pow cards, a 9-pow LJ would definitely wreck shit. We'll probably have to wait 2 or more release weeks before we get another LJ, but if there's a 9-pow on the horizon, I can wait forever. Think 9/2 3*. Or scrap it, just... anyone with an SOB, PP&D, I can get behind, we don't have decent SOB's up in here.
