I might be understanding you, but I don't play Elo much (I've tried to change that, but college won't let me) and I play Pussycats even less, so take this with a grain of salt.

I think I get what you mean by flavor. Clover and Clover Noel made for nigh-impenetrable defenses, Muze* made the life gap even harder to close, and Yayoi excelled in either offense or defense depending on what the situation called for. Compared to them, Noemi is your average low power-high reduction ala Trish/Caelus Cr/Robb Cr and Jayzel's condition heavily saps her adaptability and leaves her unable to fill Yayoi's shoes.

This might be where my inexperience starts to show, but I can't think of a situation where unbanning one of them wouldn't tip the scales too far. Aside from Muze's poison (which we already covered), none of those cards are providing something unique that you can't elsewhere.

*- Ignoring that fact that any poison better than the Freaks makes you a ban magnet.

On a brighter note, Pussycats are due for a new card soon and if Boostr keeps up the trend of alternating between new staples and meh/sub-par cards* you'll probably be getting a new card soon that will be very hard to complain about.

*- Vortex: Vektor & Jordygn, Freaks: Liona & Caesar, Uppers: Magnar & Christelle, All Stars: Crazy Carlo & Mulligan, Piranas: Rekved & Raskal, Berzerk: Marjory & Elmer, Frozn: Ruru & Everyone Else. Bangers might be the only exception here, as both Tasty Tat and Zoe are great.

Yeah, although mercury is great, i still need more staples for my half-deck. They always get 5* or 4*. What they need is a 3* and I hope for the next week that they will give us what we need. A good 3*, either for defense or offense.
I could substitute mercury when diana is banned. (Malicia is good too but i don't like to use her)
the 2 stars are always the best staples and no one even tries to ban them(lucky for us pussycat players).
the 5 star powerhouse are never dull and are still sharp
and all i am waiting for is a 3*. AND The funniest thing about it is that when Clover AND Clover Noel were added as the 3 star staples, They never got any addition of another 3* to them which is the most peculiar thing. And at that time was late 2012 or 2013. Which is more than 1 year.

If PCats get a new card , I do believe it would be soon but I'm definitely not against it.
Mercury isn't bad , but I don't see why people pick her over Lois Ld , and she gets overlooked.
For me a Good Half Deck for PCats is : Diana , Lois Ld , Nabrissa (You can use Samia or Lorea ), Lucy
It seems like most PCats Staples are in the 2's , Diana and I suppose Jayzel is a semi-staple.
If Diana did get unbanned , I'd be most in Favor of Muze or Clover coming back.
Clover Noel is harder in my opinion to get around because she takes away 4 Damage guaranteed if you have no SOA / SOB and can work around the Protection Damage and Jungo and Berzerk and other -x life minimum y .
Muze coming back . . . might be dangerous but is certainly better than Yayoi coming back to terrorize I think.
Muze is 7 Power with no Power or Attack Manip , requires you to gamble with your pills , and is weak to SOA, which is pretty common nowadays. Honestly , she can inflict damage, but Diana is the main life gapper. Also , Muze doesn't synch up that well with Freaks & PCats so that's a small plus.

I disagree Joseph . . .
8 Power is more useful than 7 Power , and COB is equally useful as compared to +2 life.
Seeing as Nabrissa , Diana , Ditha , Lorea Lois Ld , Leela ( all see fair amounts of play ) can all do fair amounts of damage , having a wall in the 3 star slot is a bit more important than the life gapping present in Betty .
But Cherry should probably get played before either.

The best 3* are Muze, Clover and Clover Noel (all banned).

Next in line are Jayzel and Noemi.

Noemi is playable, but really shaky. Jayzel competes with Nabrissa for the Revenge slot.

Cherry, Candice and Samia are the next options.

Cherry is really situational, but can be really powerful. Samia is decent against damage clans, but against attack / power manip clans, Lucy does the same job for fewer stars without the Reprisal.

Candice does the same damage as Noemi, but 6 Power Pill manip is crazy risky. Still usable, but the skill cap is higher compared to other cards.

The other 3* are not worth consideration, imo.

Kitties have sufficient 2* and 5* options.

On 4*, there is Diana, and Malicia. Lois Ld competes with Jayzel and Nabrissa for the Revenge slot.

I would consider Mercury a poor option due to the lack of damage; generally kitties are played for the damage gap, not for their round winning abilities (or lack of). Veronica has been out forever, and she barely gets any use.
