I just logged back in after a few months (maybe close to a year) so I'm very rusty.
Junkz is the clan for which I have the most amount of characters, so I was looking for a good half with 'em in ELO.
I just bought D4 Funk.
5* - Maazk, Fuzz (oh nope he is banned)
4* - Eebiza, Gibson, Qubik
3* - Tremoth, Stiko, Jiro, Romana, Lolly, Onik, Keanew, D4 Funk
2* - Dreen, Veenyle CR, Flanagan
Thanks for the all the replies, everyone!
What I'm getting is that Junkz is very versatile and that their heavier cards (star count wise) make up most of their appeal.
Berzerk sure seems popular with them, though! I should probably buy Elvis.
@Jamox360 Mmm I do have some of the core Allstars and PC. I just dislike how said cores are usually banned these days.
@TheOPG mmm I'm not that rich, sadly. But thanks for the suggestion.
@bOCneehog wow all those stops!
I'd disagree that the appeal of Junkz is in their higher star cards (4/5*). Haze and Qubik are by far the most common choices in their respective and it's pretty uncommon to see the other options.
Flanagan makes it into basically every Junkz half. It's the 3* where they have the best depth, and in my opinion it's the combination of Tremorh, Romana and D4 Funk that ties Junkz together.
I'd say that the vast majority of Junkz halves would be a selection of these 6 characters.
I usually use them mono. They are very well balanced with a mid-powered clan bonus and multiple options for nearly every useful ability (pill manipulation, SOA, SOB, damage reduce, power reduce, 8 power). They don't need to go out of clan for anything.
Sasi is the Junkz version of Tsubame. Once you hit with any of your 4 damage 3*s, she can then come in to threaten 2HKO, basically forcing your opponent to burn most of their pills to beat her. Since Fuzz (and DJ Korr) is banned, she is the only Junkz that can reach 10 damage for 2HKO. If you like having this option, she is the only choice. The two other good options at 5* are the 7 damage hitters Haze and Peeler. Haze is arguably better to close in the last round but she is poor against All Stars, while Peeler is just plain solid. If you are committed to a win-3 strategy, then Taham is the best 5* for this, really underrated and rarely seen and most people don't know how to play against him. However, I often don't use a 5* for Junkz... they play much more different than Sentinels, Uppers or Rescue, being strong in 3* instead of 5*.
When I think of Junkz, I mainly look at these cards:
5* - Haze
4* - Qubik, Dawn
3* - Tremorh, Romana, D4 Funk
2* - Flanagan
I think they're a good low star half with many 3* options and relatively solid 4* choices. In general, they lack damage but provide good utility and match control.
Since damage is a weakness, pairing them with a high star clan with good damage / DR is ideal.
Off the top of my head
Pussycats with Leela, Florida Jane, Diana + Lucy + Nabrissa
Uppers with any combination, although Lady stands out here
All-Stars with Crazy Carlo, Marina, Saki if you ever get such a gimmick week
Jungo with Ongh, Pegh
