Halloween has come and gone. Aside from a few scuffles, Clint City has been relatively peaceful... That is, until a cache of very unusual candy, crafted by none other than the sinister Candy Jack, is discovered! A rumor spreads that the power from this batch of candy exceeds even Morphun's pillz, and so, the underdogs of Clint City rush to claim as much as they can in a sudden bid for power!
The Coliseum Candy Wars will start on November, the 12th at 2 pm (EST 8:00) and will end on November, the 16th at 2 pm (EST 8:00).

The rules changing in coliseum is a regular thing that several players have complained about.... can this be avoided for future Coliseums?

We'll definitely try to avoid it as much as possible in the future. However, it should be understood that while the Coliseum is in the "setup" state, some of the rules may be subject to change.
We're planning for Coliseums to become much more frequent than they have been, and it's been great to hear from players about what they like and dislike about this one. Please keep the feedback coming.

I would like to go against the flow here.. The major fun in coliseum is that the rules keep changing. Each coliseum brings a new challenge and a spark to create a new deck. And with each new deck there should be different rules for calculating the points awarded. I believe with 7 pills and maximum potential of a single 4 star it will be difficult to KO your opponent thus extra points for KO is justified. Similarly where KO is easier due to lets say a war between junta and fang pi i would believe that the additional points rewarded should be nullified in such cases

Sorry, I thought we were talking about rules changing before the Coliseum became active (for example, people who saw this event in the Setup stage thought CRs would be allowed, that they could play with a splash instead of having equal clans, etc.) We will try to limit that, as it can be a little misleading.
In regards to rules changing from one Coliseum to the next, I'm strongly in favor of it. Coliseum is meant to reward players for adapting, for creating their own "mini-meta" within the framework of the rules, and I think that's a big part of the fun.

@sieglinhear and ddjim
by change rules i did not mean changing rules for every Coliseum
announcing an event, posting rules, then changing rules, then possibly changing rules again >> for an official event --then it actually begins. this is not good.
one of the big complaints towards staff/admin/mods is the lack of communication, especially in the EN community. the other communities sometimes get information well before we do... or at times, even never. This is bad. Giving incorrect or incomplete information is just as bad if not worse.
changing rules from one Coli to another is awesome

I wouldn't mind rule changes if the format was proposed in the forums and players were allowed to offer feedback on how it could be made better. Then, those suggestions could be taken into consideration and the coliseum could be adjusted accordingly for its big release.
Announce the finalized format 48 hours in advance of its start to allow players time to plan, prepare, and speculate among their guild-mates.

22*
2 clans
4 cards from each clan
no CR's
I had tons of fun in this coliseum. The decks I encountered were surprisingly diverse.
