Started this a long time ago, so let's do it again.
Ward hg: Seriously one of the most underrated; natural first choice for most people goes to C Wing, but this can replace Cyb Lhia in many cases (where there is already a lot of damage, and Ward hg would fit the theme).
Liam: People just remember Redra and Sasha, but Liam is probably just as good as those two, provided that Skeelz severely lack an SoA. People just build decks without him, but try to make a 3 2* deck with him if possible.
Ojibway: Somehow people just forgot about him, there was a time when he was banned every week... Still don't understand why. He is not as solid as lou, but has 2 increased damage used early, for a 10 damage that is almost irreducible.
Yes, Eddie is obviously much better than Snowflake. Never said he wasn't, just wondered why people don't view Snowflake as a similar threat (which you explained and I agree with).
Thing with Snowflake is - compared to Eddie - is that no one knows how to play around Snowflake. She is so underused that throwing Snowflake out in round 1 is an instant mind game for your opponent. Anyone playing Eddie is probably throwing 6-8 pillz on him first round depending on what the rest of the cards look like.
I'll take a 4* Eddie in Ulu Watu over Snowflake in Skeelz 10/10 times.
But put 7 pillz on Snowflake and as long as you're rocking a Caelus CR, Chiara CR, or any other power manipulation card (All Stars - which is what I used to run my Skeelz half deck with) you have yourself a win.
Now you're sitting with Snowflake and Plunk in your hand. Good luck to your opponent figuring out which you'll open the match with.
Now you're sitting with Snowflake and Beck - Nena in your hand, does your opponent think you're winning with Snowflake or losing with her so you can activate Beck - Nena?
Main point was, Eddie (rightfully so) gets the nod as the best Heal card in the game. Malicia may be next just given the nature of the clan she's in, but Snowflake is up there as a really good card.
She certainly isn't the same kind of Nuke that Eddie is, and Skeelz don't contribute as easily to winning a 2nd round in the match, but their lineup with Snowflake is a threat you can't just discount.
Snowflake: Yes, definitely one of the most underrated cards. Only problem as you guys have said is the 7 power, but it is kind of compensated by the protection, which makes her that much more of a threat against most clans with high damage and SoA, namely uppers, gheist. She is very playable on round two as well, if it is possible to sneak her in. One of the problems now is the usage of Xingshu, which limits her capabilities.
Gretchen: Same case, she used to be very popular if you guys remember, often times banned. But those were times when fiora, even willow was not out. She is a good card, but min. 10 is kind of low, and even cards like yookie limits her usefulness, and a big nuke in the last round can mess up your day.
Amanie: Similar to gretchen, honestly a card I have not seen in ages. She deserves much more attention, she is better than round 3 gretchen, and not limited by all the +life already in the clan.
The best argument for Snowflake is comparing her to Greem, as they have the same usage (first turn bomb) and Snowflake actually fights slightly better. Of course, Greem is slightly stronger against DR (a Skeelz weakness) and slightly stronger against +life.
Deebler is actually pretty underrated. I use him in a Freaks half deck and he fills a nice role there, able to stall and let that poison sink in. Also has some nice damage that is quite easy to sneak in.
But Iguana Samson has to be one of the best underrated cards. Saved me so many times against Roots. Solid stats, and only gets better against SOA. What every Stop card should be. I personally use him over Nahomi.
