Started this a long time ago, so let's do it again.
Ward hg: Seriously one of the most underrated; natural first choice for most people goes to C Wing, but this can replace Cyb Lhia in many cases (where there is already a lot of damage, and Ward hg would fit the theme).
Liam: People just remember Redra and Sasha, but Liam is probably just as good as those two, provided that Skeelz severely lack an SoA. People just build decks without him, but try to make a 3 2* deck with him if possible.
Ojibway: Somehow people just forgot about him, there was a time when he was banned every week... Still don't understand why. He is not as solid as lou, but has 2 increased damage used early, for a 10 damage that is almost irreducible.
Seriously, I'm sure that everyone in this thread that says Liam is bad has DEFINITELY tried to use him. Empirical evidence, not theory crafting. Skeelz have MULTIPLE characters that have 9+ virtual power, and if Rahi hits for 8 Xingshu hits for 9. They don't need SOA and in fact, it doesn't fit with their strategy.
Travis Ld fits in Junkz just like Melvin fits in Sentinels. But, you say, Melvin is min. 2! But in Junkz, if you can limit your opponent to 4 damage, you will win. Being able to seal a win when you are up by 5 is good enough.
I'm not sure why you are arguing Bloodh but dismiss Owen.
Azgroth: its already been stated why Azgroth is good when you have Oshitsune: SOA and protection power. You often need someone solid or you can't stop a bomb like Marjorie.
Kitsune, the Skeelz have two characters with potential 9 or above power, just two. Sandro and Michael. Let's not get into that illogical and completely ridiculous/stupid "virtual power". -power subtracts power from your opponents card thus rendering your cards power the same as it always has been/will be.
Just to clarify.
Honestly I think "virtual power" is actually ok, I mean people get all pissy and stuff when 8 -2 power is counted as 10 power. It is not exactly the same, but it is about as good, and that is about the best comparison someone can make to simplify the analysis of cards.
Skeelz has quite a lot of raw power, but as you can see, pretty much all of those raw powers have pretty mediocre damage. For instance, sandro sits at a 4 damage, but with not protection whatsoever, it gets easily easily reduced.
I hate to use this as an argument, but I am one of the more experienced ELO players (you can check my ELO record) and I can say for sure, that skeelz is much more viable in 1300+ with Liam.
Travis Ld and melvin, that is exactly the comparison that makes travis ld seem like crap. If your opponent is dumb enough to let you seal a win with travis ld (meaning that travis ld is matched against the high damaging card) they are a not so good player. Not to say, that min. 4 is absolutely useless against most cards which have other forms of life gaps: I will just list about TEN cards that pretty much completely bypasses it:
Xingshu, Aylen, Jautya, Pan, Cutey, Konrad, Anita, Snowflake, Nyema, Ditha.
There are tons more, but point being min. 4 has minimal use, especially if you have not read, jolly, veenyle even fizzle, and heck romana is a better DR in half of the situations.
I would use Travis Ld before Venyle Cr, if I needed DR that bad. To be honest, Junkz doesn't really need DR beyond Romana and Flangan, but some weeks Travis Ld can give you autowins.
Round 3, I fury Qubik for 7. Round 4, you flurry Havok to... 4.
