Started this a long time ago, so let's do it again.
Ward hg: Seriously one of the most underrated; natural first choice for most people goes to C Wing, but this can replace Cyb Lhia in many cases (where there is already a lot of damage, and Ward hg would fit the theme).
Liam: People just remember Redra and Sasha, but Liam is probably just as good as those two, provided that Skeelz severely lack an SoA. People just build decks without him, but try to make a 3 2* deck with him if possible.
Ojibway: Somehow people just forgot about him, there was a time when he was banned every week... Still don't understand why. He is not as solid as lou, but has 2 increased damage used early, for a 10 damage that is almost irreducible.

Don feels very lacking against other manipulators of both kinds, though,

Personally not a fan of Ichiko over Chan. Not sure why she gets used more often than he does. Chan gives you his ability for all 3 rounds at the expense of 1 damage whereas Ichiko is good for 2 rounds for 1 extra damage.....

I'm making a case for Hundun .
He's the low pill high damage 2* alternative to Esmerelda .
He only seems bad, but up to 4 pills he's a very good option Turn 1 or Turn 2 !

@Daxose I think the thing about Ichiko over Chan is that cards like Chan and Fanny get used so often to try and 'trick' the opponent into wasting a good card with pills that now people have come to just let the card win, soak the minimal damage, and possibly end up with a huge advantage if you did indeed use 4 or 5 pills. Personally I like Chan better than Ichiko... but I think Ichiko might be a better card just because she's not so predictable. Maybe that's a bad choice of words... her ability makes her predictable... but her strategies aren't as well known.
@Soiuku Hundun sucks 4 pills in the first round is exactly the number you don't use if you're playing freaks. I could see using him with reprisal but, really, why have a card that's only good in the first round with reprisal? And even then he's only winning if they bluffed.

I can see how her strategy isn't as known, thus they don't know how to play against her - throw Ichiko out there in a round with her ability inactive and watch your opponent struggle to play around her. Very nice tactic to use.
Personally, I like having Chan as that 10 powered wall. Forces the opponent to pill low at the beginning (allows for you to use a heavy hitter early - and not wait until the end where it becomes predictable). Depends on the player.
Like Isatis for me. I don't see her as a threat at all. Yeah, she's a 9/8 4* and it can be a lot, but if you know how people play a card (or how to play against a card) it becomes easier to play around that card.
I guess people don't know how to play against Ichiko at this point.

The tipping point for Ichiko has to do with her damage
Fpc already lose damage against sob and even their higher cards aren't as great against it. Cards like kamekun only retaining 3 damage
Chan adds to this issue, against sob it isn't worth even playing 1 pill with him, 1 damage is awful and doesn't warrant wasting any time pilling on
Similarly a half deck draw may draw him without his bonus again making him an awful card to pill with
Unfortunately this isn't an uncommon occurrence and to make it higher in Elo you can't afford to have a card that will be useless in a common scenario
Ichiko whilst having only one more damage in the same scenarios as above retains the passable level of damage for a 2* card, making her slightly more useful than him

^ Been playing FPC a bunch lately, and I'm not running Chan regardless of Ichiko, simply because of the Damage part. Most good or exceptional looking FPC suck really hard against SOB, particularly their low stars. There seems to be an infinite number of wasy to build a FPC deck which looks perfectly sensible and loses to SoB.
That said, I'm not sure Ichiko's much of an improvement, beyond the obvious factor that people aren't familiar (or clear about) how to pill her, and Chan has kinda been read. I swear one day I'll just toss Muntendon in there just to see what all the Jean, Qubick, Wendel and Roots and Gheist guys do.
