This Saint Valentine’s week is also a chance to introduce the new Phoenix ranking. It will be appear as soon as you have 100% of the characters available in the shop and 100% of the Rebirth cards!
This new ranking comes between the Colossus and Divinity rankings.
Happy gaming to you all!
Well this is disappointing for 99.9% of UR players, rather than just making that 1% FAP over this new ranking maybe you could do something that would encourage us 99.9% to get involved in or allow us to get excited about UR again !
Here is an easy solution to all those complaining about rebirth cards : Don't buy them
Besides collecting purposes there is no other reason for anyone to own them. What they should be doing with this is updating cards that with 1 more damage could turn usable like Mantiz.
Levi, it's cause anything they have been doing has been for profit
The Dounia CR release. The DJ Korps issue. The marketing tactic in regards to waiting a week before NB is on the market. The release of LD cards. The implementation of tokens. The release of RB cards. Older tactics like adding standard (failed), increasing the amount of cards in NB packs from 35 to 50, increasing pack prices (and, in turn, amount of cards you get per pack - which just increases amount of commons and uncommons you receive, in no way enhances your profit or obtaining rare cards - you only get one)
The only aspect of the above things mentioned that benefits the players are LD cards because they are new (though LD cards are also a cash grab, but I'll spare you all that rant). Otherwise, Dounia, DJ Korps, Marketing, Tokens, NB pack increase, and RB cards are all ploys to make more cash. None of them have enhanced my UR playing experience at all.
The only other enhancements UR has made to the game is the addition of Events (at the expense of Secure Trades?)
I get it, they're a business, they want to make money. They could stop doing it at the player's expense though and start doing it with the player's benefit in mind.
I don't understand what changed with the addition of an extra title that is making some people upset....
it is no different from the situation last week. the title is there just as a recognition of owning the rb and future rbs. doesnt affect 99%+ now. if you were unhappy with Rbs, i suppose this just gave you another reason to be unhappy. but did it actually contribute or remove from your enjoyment of the game?? so somehow this announcement makes it less fun of a game than yesterday? odd
I will say this though (somewhat of a repeat of something ive said in the past)
UR is a business we all know and accept that. It needs to sell credits, bottom line.
But each thing UR does at this point can be seen as either
1) a way to get money/credits from the existing player base
2) a way to grow the existing player base
and the truth is too many moves seem to fall under #1
Whatever decisions UR does needs to do both or only #2
Anything that only does #1 but not #2 just leads to members of the community being negative about it and is not good for the game
So UR SHOULD carefully be looking at #2 as their main goal, because #1 comes as a result of it.
Or does UR basically only do #1 at this point, until the game reaches a point where the player base is just too low to bother maintaining it
I for one do not really want to see any more perks that are targeted at the top end of the community. I would much rather see the changes and decisions aimed at growing the community. At the end of the day I would rather have 5000 people playing a DT than having Phoenix status over 1000 other players
It's like UR doesn't care about making their community happy but rather them trying to fill their pockets with money before this game eventually dies out. I'm aware that they are a business but you can make money without screwing over your player base. Also, it seems with every new announcement they make, the game gets gradually worse. On a final note, where's the daily bonus that you guys promised to add for pc users?
