After much feedback about the difficulty of getting hold of Rebirth cards, we’ve decided to make them more accessible by standardizing their distribution. Rebirth Cards are versions of original cards aimed at replacing the originals in new players’ collections and in the packs:
-They have the same stats.
-They have improved graphics.
-They have the same level of rareness as their original version and are available in all the Shop’s packs apart from New Blood ones.
As of today, you can get hold of a Rebirth card in the Shop's packs as a replacement to its original which will no longer be distributed.
“Ah but you have to pay to get hold of these cards!”
Don’t worry, next week you’ll have the chance to get hold of them in a Leader Wars or Coliseum event without spending a dime.
“OK, but there’s an entrance free for Leader Wars, isn’t there?”
Yes, there is an entrance fee but in Clintz only, which means you can keep your credits for New Blood packs and promotions. And some people manage to get hold of tickets
Here are the broad outlines of the new way to get hold of Rebirth cards:
- an Rb announcement in the shop's packs
- the original version will cease to be distributed
- a feature event the following week for a catch-up session
This will make Rebirth cards more accessible and will breathe new life into your collection. It will also increase the value of the original cards.
“So will the original versions now be Collector cards?”
No, existing original versions do not have Collector status as there is a Rebirth version of them with identical stats in the packs.
Finally, please contact our Customer Support Team if you've bought (and not won) a Rebirth card.
You'll be reimbursed to the Market value of the Rebirth card.
We appreciate your interest in Urban Rivals.
EDIT: After some discussion, we have decided to change the refund policy to include those who won RB cards.
If you won an RB card: Please contact support, and include a screenshot of your card history showing that you won the card. Your compensation will be based on the price of the card prior to Rebirth 2.0 announcement, as follows:
syd noze rb : 200k
ashley rb : 90K
baby q rb : 120K
Wardog Rb : 250k
Nanook Rb : 500k
vermyn N Rb : 350K
Striker Rb : 380k
If you have purchased an RB card: Please contact support, and include a screenshot of your market history showing the price you paid for the card.
We appreciate all of your suggestions and feedback in regards to this matter, and thank you for your patience. For a thorough explanation as to why we feel the RB 2.0 initiative was necessary and will be a big benefit to the game, please see the following thread: http://www.urban-rivals.com/en/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&forum_page=0&id_subject=2550671&subject_page=last#answers
Thank you and happy gaming to you all.

Hi there.. I think I have read all the official answers admin/mod have given us, so I think this doubt is unresolved:
What is the UR value for the original cards now the rebirth are normal cards? I'm pretty sure the originals dont count for the collection... so if you dont need them to finish the collection and you can use the rebirth version... I'm afraid they are useless... unless you count some special collectors who want to have both versions...
I hope you can understand my doubt
Thanks in advance
Not sure why I'm dignifying the previous post with a response, but here goes:
The Stepson (341):
Why would you call me egotistical? I don't think I'm better than anyone or special. I simply think I should be treated fairly. That's not being egotistical. In fact, I'm willing to accept my problems, and even called people in my situation out to calm down, too. It seems you just don't like being told you don't belong in this conversation. I fully admitted mistakes were on both sides, and I am one of those sides. Jumping to conclusions makes *you* look like a child. Goodness.
You seem mad because I spent money on this game? Your reasoning was: Since I spent my own money, and something bad happened (that was a direct result of UR's decisions and NOT the normal market)... I should just follow my own advice for you. You, who bought nothing and lost nothing, should be able to decide what's best for those of us who pay for you? Who's egotistical now?
I'm not asking or expecting *MORE* than what the card was worth. I'm simply happy UR is picking up part of the tab for their mistake. As they should, and as you'd expect, too, if you'd bought the cards. That is fair, and everyone deserves to be treated fairly, right? If you lost nothing... then why are you complaining? You've been treated fairly on that transaction. The rest of us have not.
Again, mistakes were made on both sides, and this action is the best one UR could have made, imo. Anyone is welcome to argue on that point.
I was going to be quiet, but it seems would be kinda impossible since you people keep skiping reasoning...something so simple.
I'm sorry, but it was not just my impression that the people who did nothing but come here and out ot the blue start screeming from the top of their lungs what they were entitled to (and I was the the first to call out the aspect of those actions) egotistical and childish aspect. But hey, all of us are becoming quite used to that tone from you, big guns!! Not harm done!
BTW, who decided that I do not belong in this conversation!?!?? The moderators? The Administrators? Boostr itself??! You..maybe?! Goood God, I'm so relieved that you "don't think that your are better than anyone"..or even special!!! All good news there too!!!
In a last note, you spend your money as you wish...it's yours!! What do I have to do with that?!
Buuuut...what have you paid for me again!?! Send me the bill ok? Maybe there is a reimbursement to you too in there! Who knows??! Better grab the opportunity while we are at it...
About the my reasoning, the fairness of all of this...oh, I'm too tired...please, let me be, you already got what you've asked for, anyways!
Nice week end everybody!!
