After much feedback about the difficulty of getting hold of Rebirth cards, we’ve decided to make them more accessible by standardizing their distribution. Rebirth Cards are versions of original cards aimed at replacing the originals in new players’ collections and in the packs:
-They have the same stats.
-They have improved graphics.
-They have the same level of rareness as their original version and are available in all the Shop’s packs apart from New Blood ones.
As of today, you can get hold of a Rebirth card in the Shop's packs as a replacement to its original which will no longer be distributed.
“Ah but you have to pay to get hold of these cards!”
Don’t worry, next week you’ll have the chance to get hold of them in a Leader Wars or Coliseum event without spending a dime.
“OK, but there’s an entrance free for Leader Wars, isn’t there?”
Yes, there is an entrance fee but in Clintz only, which means you can keep your credits for New Blood packs and promotions. And some people manage to get hold of tickets
Here are the broad outlines of the new way to get hold of Rebirth cards:
- an Rb announcement in the shop's packs
- the original version will cease to be distributed
- a feature event the following week for a catch-up session
This will make Rebirth cards more accessible and will breathe new life into your collection. It will also increase the value of the original cards.
“So will the original versions now be Collector cards?”
No, existing original versions do not have Collector status as there is a Rebirth version of them with identical stats in the packs.
Finally, please contact our Customer Support Team if you've bought (and not won) a Rebirth card.
You'll be reimbursed to the Market value of the Rebirth card.
We appreciate your interest in Urban Rivals.
EDIT: After some discussion, we have decided to change the refund policy to include those who won RB cards.
If you won an RB card: Please contact support, and include a screenshot of your card history showing that you won the card. Your compensation will be based on the price of the card prior to Rebirth 2.0 announcement, as follows:
syd noze rb : 200k
ashley rb : 90K
baby q rb : 120K
Wardog Rb : 250k
Nanook Rb : 500k
vermyn N Rb : 350K
Striker Rb : 380k
If you have purchased an RB card: Please contact support, and include a screenshot of your market history showing the price you paid for the card.
We appreciate all of your suggestions and feedback in regards to this matter, and thank you for your patience. For a thorough explanation as to why we feel the RB 2.0 initiative was necessary and will be a big benefit to the game, please see the following thread: http://www.urban-rivals.com/en/community/forum/?mode=viewsubject&forum_page=0&id_subject=2550671&subject_page=last#answers
Thank you and happy gaming to you all.

You could start lobbying that all posts need to be approved by one to three moderators before being approved if you really don't want people to troll. It would kill the community, but that's a small price to pay for troll-free environment.
We used to have to approve all forum posts before they appeared. This meant it could take a bit of time for your comments to appear but there were little to no troll, rude e.c.t posts on the forums. Players wanted quicker posting so the admins removed the approval system.
This means conversations happen quicker but troll, spam e.c.t posts can get through.
p.s some staff threads still have the approval system sometimes.
Why am I here?
There's nothing wrong with a bit of trolling. Besides the point, there's no trolling here. The Stepson wasn't trolling, he had an opinion, just because it was in disagreement with YOUR opinion doesn't make it trolling. I thought he was wrong about Xonia though, seems to me he/she took the middle-ground more than anyone else. I think it's just a case of The Stepson seeing shadows in every corner. SOME players have the wrong mentality, but that's far from ALL.
In fact, I wrote The Stepson a lengthy message about just that. I think that his intentions are good: he wants to prevent what he sees as a class divide in UR. He's not alone. I still see "UR only cares about money" messages on these forums, and I want to understand why some people feel that way and what we can do to solve the problem.
It can be hard to keep things polite and respectful when two opinions about something important are different online. I would encourage all of you to remember that you have something in common: you're speaking passionately about this topic because this game matters to you, and you all want to see it make the right decisions! Be more patient and understanding with each other, and you may find that you have many other things in common as well.
