My final star reward was the same as Whitedragon11's.
I can see now why the developers intentionally ignored my request to clarify what the "special" reward is. That was incredibly disappointing. I wouldn't recommend anyone bothering playing this game mode....especially if Ld missions do return.
Here's a bug for anyone who 1. already has the ld (in the headquarter your stuck in) 2. doesn't care about the 1 silver token + ~3800 bp. If you lose round 10, do not go back to the room after the continue timer expires. Instead just click the "fight" button. You'll be versing the level 10 battle again (and can do this as many times as it takes to beat it). After you beat it, you'll get the 10th star (which does count towards the final star count, but just not the individual hardcore prize.
Though again, if Ld missions do come back, this arcade is NOT worth completing in hardcore.
I mean, can't we just get generic Ld missions (not even clan specific, sort of like how they were for new clans, like just deal X damage or win X fights), with a reduced repeat reward, like a bronze token or two instead of credits? Of they're worried about giving free credits away, then don't give them away, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Arcade is not an appealing replacement. An alternative, sure, something that can be done out of choice, but not something to force us into instead of the fun thing that we lost.
The staff exceeded the difficult this time. I faced frustrating HQs before, but now... A part from the fact that all the mode is quite unfair as it's too restrictive (4-5 clans forbidden, count Freaks due to the bonus), they stopped us from using almost all the broken cards, but then we are going to face all of them at least twice per HQ, and obviously not one at a time (you can't use, for example, Beeboy, but at the same time you are going to fight against Kiki Cr and Imperia Sloane/Miss Sloane at the same time, with Arno and who knows which one more).
That makes a matter of luck to win, you need your best hand (or almost the best) and hope for the AI doesn't cheat. Because yes, it cheats no matter what the staff can say now. It's the only thing that can explain how in certain combats always knows what I am doing. If I bluff or do a normal play (some pillz, but keeping some) the AI uses the exact number needed to win me if the character has some danger (due to ability and or damage), but if I try a round win (KO or not) or cover some kind of play the AI never uses more than 2 pillz... and all of this you with a 25* deck but the AI not, specially the latest combats (it's quite normal to have a 10*-12* hand and face a 17*-18* hand)
And that's what bothers me the most. I can handle the extremely restrictive rules, I can handle the really unfair decks (more stars for the AI and with all the broken cards despite I barely can use 1 of them, may be 2). But the cheating AI...
