I was thinking of ways to subvert the Berzerk weakness of the min 2 on its ability that makes the bonus often useless.
Here's my solution:
Javier (or some other name, I chose it to go with Cortez' Mexican theme in case someone wanted to link them)
Ability: Poison 2, min 0
This card is rather powerful. 8/9 from the getgo, in T3 the enemy dies in the next 2 rounds (or 1 with cards like Clive) if they have no life manipulators. And his ability nicely slams through the Berzerk min.
I think with such a synergistic and powerful ability, this card doesn't need more than 8/7 stats. If it wins it has a bigger and difficult to counteract impact.
But it can be 'countered' to a small degree by many decks that stops it from being a mindless win button too much. DR delays it, Piranas and Nightmare do the same thing, Jungos and life manipulators in general can help keep you afloat. Roots and GHEIST kill the scariest thing about the card which is of course the min 2 bypassing. + It has no winning support on its own, 8 power is solid but for an unsupported 5* it's not too strong at all.
