First of all, we would like to draw your attention to the list of rewards for the end of this first season, which you’ll find by clicking on the following link: https://www.urban-rivals.com/help/
The ELO Fighting Championship mode was launched three months ago and the first season has now come to an end.
There have been lots of positive comments about this new competitive mode despite some initial concerns. This Beta season, as we’ve called it, has given us the chance to analyze the behavior of both the players and the mode and to draw certain conclusions from it.
A large number of players reached the final level of the league with scores of over 2000 points.
We would like to congratulate all these players who clearly demonstrated that it wasn’t so hard to adjust to the different levels. We also want deck building to become an important part of EFC as this will hopefully prevent the ELO stagnation of old, classic decks.
Currently, this feature of the game is a lot more fun and although it still requires a lot of tweaking, with the arrival of the future New Bloods, we will continue to strengthen the clans with the aim of creating more diversity.
The current season will end on Sunday, May 28th at 11.59pm (GMT+1) to make way for the second season that starts on Monday.
The biggest change we’ve made concerns the length of the season.
One comment that came up time and time again regarding this new mode related to its duration, which many of you judged to be too long.
As a result, this new season will be considerably shorter and will run for just 4 weeks.
We envisage that making this season two thirds shorter than the previous one may well have a direct impact on certain aspects of the game and the ranking system, which is why we’ve decided not to make any other changes for the time being.
Please find below the details of the “Alpha” EFC League.
Changes to visible rewards here: https://www.urban-rivals.com/help/
The Alpha season will begin on Monday, May 29th, running for a total of 4 weeks and ending on June 25th at 11.59 (GMT+1).
The structure of the levels (zones, etc.) will not change in the Alpha version.
A new list of banned characters will also be announced on May 29th.
The 5 matches from the start of the week rule will be maintained, and the deck format will be based on your score from the previous week.
These changes and adjustments are not definitive as we are now entering the second and final testing phase of the EFC mode – the Alpha version.
It is therefore possible that we may change some of the game parameters over the course of the season if there is an urgent requirement to do so.
We are striving for an even more lively and competitive season than the last, and the rewards have been adjusted accordingly to stimulate performance. Be sure not to forget that EFC is Urban Rivals’ competitive mode so to reach the top, you're gonna have to fight hard
Happy gaming to you all!

Well the old elo system was a bit more fair to the people it was newbie friendly in turms of gameplay, but the rewards were total chaos. weather or not you resieve a card reward, its true. The new EFC is more rewarding but less newbie friendly and total crap in fairness eaven with top deck( for which you must have reaaaly expensive cards in your deck and thats not newbie friendly) However it rewards some old geezers that may or may not spend money on the game whatsoever. Not to mention the diversity of your decks is total crap. The first stages Only ymirah graxx. sigma. and the last stages having super tight restriction you either get piranas mono. or some raptors. Banning surstorming after you intentionally made him into a lizbeth replacement it was amazing. Non than the less new system has its positives at some points. And having this sayed i think it would be more fair for someone who starts the game and cant overcome ymirah graxx decks in his dark corner not to resieve only one common and one uncommon card at least give them 10 or 20 common cards they can use them despite the market being overflooded with them. or a rare card when you are super low in collection its hard to be motivated to continue playing considering the first credits they get are either after getting al lthe LD condisering they can afford the missions scoring high in arcade which can be challanging for new people especially when they dont feel their decks are strong or after grinding 250 fights
I was actually serious about the sentiment behind 250 points per zone. Assuming the seasons are going to be 1 month each and if the ± 1 zone matchmaking basically everyone is asking for happens, why shouldn't the playercounts be upped at least a tiny bit near the top ranks so people don't end up facing the same small handful of people over and over again?
The reason I assumed you were joking is because the previous post which is the one I believe you were responding to mentioned that there were only 31 players in z palace this season, the reason for this I thought to be obvious, (prizes are better in polit) which is why I assumed you made a joke when you responded. but anyways it was my misunderstanding you were considering more than just the previous post, that being said however as long as the prizes for being in the top 1,000 of polit are better than 101+ z palace I don't see people caring about how many points it takes to get anywhere past the point of longing
One of the things maybe pass is not many of the older cards are useful and the only useful are very exploted, Why no change the stats? Explain me? As well as the relase of new cards you maybe can change the stats of older cards, change the ability of Ymirah, change the minimum of Graxx and other fanci changes
Season 1 efc there were over 2,000 players in z palace season 2 only 31 (mostly because top polit got better prizes than 101+ z palace at the end of season 1) and by top of polit I don't mean top 10 or top 100 but basically top 250 or 500 forgot the prizes back then but basically if they got the colossus pack they had a better season prize than 101+ z palace
as for now
top 50 polit still get better rewards than 251+ z palace, theres no point in climbing out of top 50 polit to get placed 252 in z palace
