First of all, we would like to draw your attention to the list of rewards for the end of this first season, which you’ll find by clicking on the following link: https://www.urban-rivals.com/help/
The ELO Fighting Championship mode was launched three months ago and the first season has now come to an end.
There have been lots of positive comments about this new competitive mode despite some initial concerns. This Beta season, as we’ve called it, has given us the chance to analyze the behavior of both the players and the mode and to draw certain conclusions from it.
A large number of players reached the final level of the league with scores of over 2000 points.
We would like to congratulate all these players who clearly demonstrated that it wasn’t so hard to adjust to the different levels. We also want deck building to become an important part of EFC as this will hopefully prevent the ELO stagnation of old, classic decks.
Currently, this feature of the game is a lot more fun and although it still requires a lot of tweaking, with the arrival of the future New Bloods, we will continue to strengthen the clans with the aim of creating more diversity.
The current season will end on Sunday, May 28th at 11.59pm (GMT+1) to make way for the second season that starts on Monday.
The biggest change we’ve made concerns the length of the season.
One comment that came up time and time again regarding this new mode related to its duration, which many of you judged to be too long.
As a result, this new season will be considerably shorter and will run for just 4 weeks.
We envisage that making this season two thirds shorter than the previous one may well have a direct impact on certain aspects of the game and the ranking system, which is why we’ve decided not to make any other changes for the time being.
Please find below the details of the “Alpha” EFC League.
Changes to visible rewards here: https://www.urban-rivals.com/help/
The Alpha season will begin on Monday, May 29th, running for a total of 4 weeks and ending on June 25th at 11.59 (GMT+1).
The structure of the levels (zones, etc.) will not change in the Alpha version.
A new list of banned characters will also be announced on May 29th.
The 5 matches from the start of the week rule will be maintained, and the deck format will be based on your score from the previous week.
These changes and adjustments are not definitive as we are now entering the second and final testing phase of the EFC mode – the Alpha version.
It is therefore possible that we may change some of the game parameters over the course of the season if there is an urgent requirement to do so.
We are striving for an even more lively and competitive season than the last, and the rewards have been adjusted accordingly to stimulate performance. Be sure not to forget that EFC is Urban Rivals’ competitive mode so to reach the top, you're gonna have to fight hard
Happy gaming to you all!

You have an entire month to get into z palace...
I played 20 games total this efc season and made it halfway up to z palace, there is no reason why thousands of other players shouldn't have been able to reach z palace if they wanted to.
as long as top of polit has better rewards than z palace no one will move up on purpose (unless number of participants ranked in z palace is lower than the rank needed for better prizes)
EX. prizes for top 50 polit are better than prizes for 101+z palace, that means once z palace has 100 players in it no one wants to be 101.
there is no excuse anyone can come up with as to why no one is moving onto z palace ranks aside from the fact prizes are better in polit.
literally all UR has to do is give 101+ z palace the same colossus pack that they give the top of polit and that will end the entire thing and efc will become a true competitive mode with everyone trying to score as high as they can instead of settling for the 2nd best prize.
that is literally how simple the entire thing is and for some reason incomprehensible to my feeble human brain UR will not do this/Has not done this.
I agree on colossus pack part but you needed 20 games for Z palace? Ahaha I made some maths.
So the max amount of points you can get from a win is 60 points but that only assuming that the diference between the players is 3000 EFC points. So lets say you play 20 matches and you win all of them + you win vs all the NO RESTRICTED decks from first 5 games from actually good players with expensive broken cards. And after this ez 20 win streak vs players with over 3000 EFC points is done we can multiply those 20 fights with 60 points that you gain from the won matches vs players with more than 3000 EFC points and we get 1200 ... Wait didn't you say you got halfway into Z palace with this perfect win streak versus players with 3000 EFC score? You made a mistake ... 1200 points is only Polit Arena ...
Ah darn it you found a detail I overlooked :o (gotta look out for those RBs detective skills )
But yea looking realisticly he had to win at least 19 games to 1500+ efc players in a row in order to get those 40-50 per match which lets be real is highly unlikebly So his comment was purely to mock players who don't have alot of time, not alot of good cards or who easy get frustated (which i think is not really nice) XD
Btw u were 1500+ something right? How long did it take you to get there o.o ?
Btw they removed the "no restriction decks" for the first 5 matches a while ago
for weeks people have had to play using decks restricted to their rank during those 5 matches
I myself have experienced it more than once, during the "placement" matches I had to switch decks because I moved up to the next rank and some of the cards in my decks weren't legal in those ranks so I had to switch them out.
which is another thing... since scores reset at the end of the season and regardless of your win/lose rate you start with 0 points and move up from there even if the placement matches say you don't have a score yet you obviously start off with 0 and keep your score weekly when can we expect the devs to change this?
I'm sure they foresaw the redundancy of this during season one but have left it as they have other things to do but I am looking forwards to not having 1 more thing to complain about
Oh I didn't knew that o.o well im using Z palace decks even in Dark Corners so it doesnt matter to me anyway, but I guess im happy i wont face vs Rich Z Palace players with broken ass cards anymore (even if it wasnt alot of times but you know its about the little things xP)
08:51 Elo ..you beat 1 2 3 3 2 1, Open Casket (10-4) : 152 ELO
08:48 Elo ..you beat RAGNA ROCK, El Circo Maldito (11-4) : 121 ELO
08:46 Elo ..you crushed Grexx 84, Austria Red Devils (14-3) : 93 ELO
08:44 Elo ..you beat noefixe, THE_POWER (11-4) : 64 ELO
08:41 Elo ..you beat DUC-Str1k3r, Dutch Urban Crew (14-10) : 34 ELO
5 matches 152 points if instead of playing the 5 matches today I waited till saturday I would have won more points per match and of course due to the fact I only play 5 matches a week (currently, if I like the changes to prize list and efc becomes truly competitive I'll definitely play more) my score would stay the same while everyone else goes up pretty much ensuring the same or greater points per match in the future weeks
