First of all, we would like to draw your attention to the list of rewards for the end of this first season, which you’ll find by clicking on the following link: https://www.urban-rivals.com/help/
The ELO Fighting Championship mode was launched three months ago and the first season has now come to an end.
There have been lots of positive comments about this new competitive mode despite some initial concerns. This Beta season, as we’ve called it, has given us the chance to analyze the behavior of both the players and the mode and to draw certain conclusions from it.
A large number of players reached the final level of the league with scores of over 2000 points.
We would like to congratulate all these players who clearly demonstrated that it wasn’t so hard to adjust to the different levels. We also want deck building to become an important part of EFC as this will hopefully prevent the ELO stagnation of old, classic decks.
Currently, this feature of the game is a lot more fun and although it still requires a lot of tweaking, with the arrival of the future New Bloods, we will continue to strengthen the clans with the aim of creating more diversity.
The current season will end on Sunday, May 28th at 11.59pm (GMT+1) to make way for the second season that starts on Monday.
The biggest change we’ve made concerns the length of the season.
One comment that came up time and time again regarding this new mode related to its duration, which many of you judged to be too long.
As a result, this new season will be considerably shorter and will run for just 4 weeks.
We envisage that making this season two thirds shorter than the previous one may well have a direct impact on certain aspects of the game and the ranking system, which is why we’ve decided not to make any other changes for the time being.
Please find below the details of the “Alpha” EFC League.
Changes to visible rewards here: https://www.urban-rivals.com/help/
The Alpha season will begin on Monday, May 29th, running for a total of 4 weeks and ending on June 25th at 11.59 (GMT+1).
The structure of the levels (zones, etc.) will not change in the Alpha version.
A new list of banned characters will also be announced on May 29th.
The 5 matches from the start of the week rule will be maintained, and the deck format will be based on your score from the previous week.
These changes and adjustments are not definitive as we are now entering the second and final testing phase of the EFC mode – the Alpha version.
It is therefore possible that we may change some of the game parameters over the course of the season if there is an urgent requirement to do so.
We are striving for an even more lively and competitive season than the last, and the rewards have been adjusted accordingly to stimulate performance. Be sure not to forget that EFC is Urban Rivals’ competitive mode so to reach the top, you're gonna have to fight hard
Happy gaming to you all!

BREAKING NEWS EFC made WORSE, public reacts same as always because this is the way its always been.
is it really that hard to make something better? come on...
(UR staff @the round(rectangle) table)
alright guys, there are 4 types of people playing our game.
1: the steadies (hold out and have the patience to wait for their opponent to mess up which gives them a high win rate)
2: the newbs (have no idea what they are doing)
3: veterans (they know what they have to do but they don't like waiting so they'll mess up somethings which makes them lose vs steadies but can beat the others)
4: the immorals (people who play for prizes not to test their skill, A.K.A. the people who hold their score between 1490-1500)
so, the question is; how do we use the immorals and the newbs in order to piss off the veterans?
OOOH OOOH OOOH ME
I say we make it so that the first 5 matches of the week you can use any deck you want that way the immorals will bust out some massively powerful decks on saturday when the veterans are fighting for position.
O.O I love it YEAS!!!!!!!
OOOH OOOH 2nd idea
lets make it that the lower your score the more variety that you have when making your deck so that veterans in z palace who of course have the newest cards which are "balanced" have to fight against some of the OP ones of the past
ok ok thats a decent one
OOOH OOOH 3rd idea
lets make a ranking system which puts players in different categories so that even though they all use the same points
Systems we can **** over the veterans by saying that because they are in a different category they receive different prizes and we'll make the prizes for the lower categories better than the top one that way the immoral players will purposely lose and maintain their score in an area where they can legally use some OP cards and make it even harder for veterans to rank up.
not sure how accurate that is but seems decent
not really sure why its so hard to reward people with a higher score better prizes than people who didn't score as high, that is literally all we've been asking for, for months and when it finally changes all we get is a bird doing front flips
@tricky we are not asking for something we dont deserve they first promised that everyone in z palace will get the legend pack and now at the last week they changed the rewards honestly if i knew that i would either drop my rank to polit arena or play more often at z palace so i can reach 250 but they said that on the last week???? I mean really they might even change the prizes on the last day i dont really know what to expect so i think giving legend pack for everyone is better thing and they can change rewards on the upcoming season so people have around month to get their scores at 250 z palace or just stay at polit arena , if they told us about rewards change last month it would be ok for me but just like that no i cant get it
Never ever has any staff member said I Promise anyone in ZPalace will get a Legend pack, they posted a prize list that's all and many times have said that the prize list is Subject to change to be fairer because so many was moaning the prize list was unfair,
Yeah, I guess the devs have understood by now how far their miscalculations have gone concerning the amount of prizes, I think the devs won't make a mistake like this again and in future tests will not annonce them or make considerably lower
So far, what angers the users is not that they have reduced the prizes, but that they have made a qualitative change from packs to ctz. This is the apple of discord behind all the rage...
I think they just did not see it coming.
If they gave the 250+ Z-palace users half the Legend Pack + 50 000 there would be no brawls
