I wonder why are T2 AND T1 DTs happening at the same time now?
Since we have TWO DTs in a timespam of TWO HOURS why are they at the same time?
Wouldn't it be a lot more encoraging to have them happen in different times so players can participate T1 AND T2 aswell?
The way it is now just forces the players to choose between one of them and that situation discorages players to experience all game modes available
I hope I made myself clear and would like know the community's opinion on this topic

I had similar idea for long time.
*Increase the prices.
*Let there be only one tournament at a time.
11:00 T1 tournament
13:00 T2 tournament
There are much less players in tournaments nowadays, so that would increase amount of people participating in 1 tournament.
Increase the prices because competition will be greater.
It would be harder to new players to understand when you need to play T1 deck, when T2.
If someone is playing only T1 or T2, they could be disappointed to wait 3 hours till next tournament.
"-The issue is that is might just rush players to create decks just to enter in the other room since both have different star requirements."
"-It can take 1 minute if you are quick to change your deck, but even so rushing the choices might be problematic when trying to create a good deck for Tourney. You would need to set up the deck and switch rooms if there was a Tourney every hour."
That doesn't make any sense. Most players have their deck already set before the DT, nobody builds them 5 minutes before. And it takes 10 seconds to change deck, simply change room and change deck from your saved decks
I think Izy's idea is better, and staff would only need to increase tokenz since clintz prizes will already be higher because of the number of players
The thing is, most players do not "prepare carefully". The decent part of DT (Let's say, never below rank 5 when playing a full hour) generally has decks set up, it would take seconds, as NaaRcho said.
About Izy's idea, well. We have to remember, that there are people who love T2, and people that only play T1 as well. This would make them wait 3 hours for a tourney. Back when I spammed Tourney games, I would play 2 T2 tournaments after work, in just 3 hours. With that system, it would take me 5 hours, which I do not have.
Perhaps it could work, with, say, half an hour break. The players would need time to adjust, but notifications could be made and eventually it would all fall into place.
Izy`s plan is feasible in my opinion and it is possible to attract players if there is one Tourney type at a time to bring many players together and promising rewards. It was mentioned that it would require educating new players to understanding the different formats.
For NaaRcho`s comment in response to me, I agree that any player can be ready instantly if they prepared their decks in advance. I have no objections and believe it makes sense. I am actually one of those players who constantly need to change decks and cannot prepare in advance, especially if I think my deck lost so much in Tourney.
I should explain the time issue I brought up in another way:
I apologise if I cannot use your Timezone as an example to clarify myself, but I`ll use the Singapore Timezone as an example. In Singapore, Tourneys are from: 1:00AM-2:00AM, 3:00AM-4:00AM, 5:00-6:00AM, 7:00AM-8:00AM, 9:00AM-10:00AM, 11:00AM-12:00PM, 1:00PM-2:00PM, 3:00PM-4:00PM, 5:00-6:00PM, 7:00PM-8:00PM, 9:00PM-10:00AM, 11:00PM-12:00AM.
Say I play the 1:00PM-2:00PM Tourney. It is 11:59 and I have just gotten an opponent. While the time to play each round is 60, 50, 40 and 30 Seconds respectively, the concern is overtime. After the match, my opponent took time to play their moves and it ended at 2:02PM. If another Tourney happened at 2:00AM while I still had the match, I would have lost 2 minutes to get points in a 1 hour tournament to finish another tournament, even if I saved a deck in advance.
You could argue I would leave and the time issue is no big deal, but I would not want to sacrifice 20 points that could put me at the top.
With regards to Rukmicam, I agree that a break is needed to adjust after any Tourney. I think 1 hour for Tourney with the 1 hour break is healthy and reasonable as it gives opportunities to score and rest in between. Izy did acknowledge the drawback of some players only playing T1 and some only playing T2 and waiting can be a hassle, but it can give the other rooms such as Survivor or EFC chances while some players while they are waiting for Tourney.
The solution should not be to extend or reduce the time. Playing in the game mode for more than 1 hour can be tense at times especially if you think someone will overtake your score so you cannot leave. The time spread is reasonable for players of different timezones. I need to do my daily activities and the thought of Tourney running overtime for 2 hours can stress me out and distract me in busy times.
I have no issues with the comments I responded to nor the ones here. I am just clarifying myself.
My option would be one unique room with the following characteristics:
T1 decks: between 20 and 26 stars
T2 decks: from 27 stars on
If you have a T1 deck, you'll be facing only players with T1 decks
If you have a T2 deck, you'll be facing only players with T2 decks
Other could be making each tourney 50 mins. Start at 13:00, end at 13:50 then start at 14:00.
