The clan I find myself losing against most is definitely piranas. They cancel your bonus, usually screw with your pillz (and theirs), and just throw a monkey wrench into any plan you had for the game. For the life of me I just cant deal with cards like Barden, (Miss) Lizbeth, Admiral Coco (who practically steals your bonus), Ironjaw, ulrich, the list goes on, those are only the worst of the bunch. And considering how many people play piranas, I am facing a big issue of almost consistent losses.

I REALLY want to know how to consistently kick their arses to the curb as I despise seeing that stupid pirate flag every game in DT's. I don't want to play piranas because that would require more investment, and I really don't want to become one of the scum I so despise. Any suggestions for clans or specific cards that would work well against these pirates? I play Vortex, Ulu watu, Junkz, and Fang Pi most these days.

Any balanced DT deck will be better than any Piranha deck. Check Deck Formats for some efficient DT deck

Also, do not forget that you do not necessarily need to beat every Piranha player to win a DT

Colossus - Wise Men Distracted

Stack a couple of SOAs in your deck and remember piranhas lack in damage so even winning a single round might be enough to win the match.
Fang pi/la junta are abe to counter them well since their bonus doesn't help them win rounds.

Try GHEIST I barely lose with my GHEIST deck versus Piranas. Piranas are very predictable.

While building a deck, you can't just build it to counter only one clan.

That being said, Pirana has two notable focus points.

One: a lot of their cards lack power modification.
Two: They have mediocre "loss" cards such as DR or Defeat, unlike attack manipulation clans, whose "loss" cards force more pills out of you, these ones do not.

So things to consider knowing you're struggling about Pirana.

Take advantage of their lack of power manipulation cards. Start using things with -opp power min: such as: Aamir, Toro Cr, Floyd, Rattle, Oshitsune
Understand that their "Loss" cards are limited, start bringing in cards that get around them, such as cards that use -opp life such as: Pan, Gil Cr, basically any Roots, etc.

Junkz has a great line up against Pirana

Easy 25 star for DT would be:

Qubik, Oriold, Blink, Tremorh, Veenyle Cr, #Romana, Jiro, and your choice of 2 star, I would use Flanagan but that's just me.

Stay away from D4 Funk, as cards lacking anything to help them win a round are what Pirana prey upon. Understand that Pirana usually need to win 3/4 rounds, so focus on taking two important rounds.
