No problem. I'm sure you can tell I'm not a person who minds typing. Besides... we're in the same guild! If you ever want some more advice or just want to talk game talk send me a private message.
I'm not the best player but I've been playing for a long time and I'm hovering around 1800 EFC score right now trying to figure out how to get past that.
Depends on your choices friend, as our friend Arlo said, huracan goes pretty well in elo, you need to have in mind that the first round is VERY important in order to keep the bonus at full strength. Because of it dominion goes pretty well with them. Try to keep de bonus while dominion bonus gets stronger.
A preset I always use is: Dookor, Guiliug, #Valhalla, #DeathWing and the huracan #Quetzal, #ElMariachi, Magistrado Ld and Tengu
Dominion looks to be very strong. I took a year break from the game and, at the moment, don't have the cards to try Dominion for myself.
Because Dominion is a new clan it seems as though most of their cards, good or bad, are available in most if not all of the EFC zones.
If you find a lot of your opponents are using Dominion then your Ulu Watu might struggle. Or they might not. But if they do... and you decide to do what Krue says...
I have to kinda disagree with him. For two reasons that might end up being kinda the same in the end.
1) Quetzal, while it may be available to you now at your score of 700 or 800 or whatever, will be taken away from you as soon as you pass whatever barrier you're currently trying to pass. I wouldn't base my solution on using Quetzal.
2) If I were pairing Hurucan with Dominion I don't think I would consider winning the first round important. It is conceivable that you could win with a Dominion card in round 1, therefore preserving your Hurucan bonus, but it isn't the actual synergy that comes natural to the clan. The Dominion clan gets stronger in later rounds. And, in theory (especially because Dominion doesn't have any +Life cards I don't think?) Hurucan bonus gets weaker as the game goes on. Therefore I would wall (you can use pills but do it defensively,) in round 1 almost every time. It would be my chief strategy to lose with Hurucan and win with Dominion.
Now I'm not sure if I'm right or not. And I'm trying not to type another book about it. Not sure what it is about me that can't say anything in a short amount of words.
The main synergy I see between Huracan and Dominion is that Huracan has the strongest (mathematically,) bonus in the first round and Dominion has the strongest bonus in the last round. But Huracan bonus is only the strongest in the first round if you use say, less than 5 or 6 pills. Any more than 5 or 6 pills and other bonuses will beat the Huracan bonus mathematically.
Dominion has the strongest bonus in the last round but, again, only at the correct pill level. In this case MORE than 4 or 5 pills otherwise attack manipulation clans will still have the advantage.
So to take full advantage of the Huracan/Dominion synergy I wouldn't focus on winning the first round. I would focus on going slow and steady and hoping the math works out for you by the end, no matter which rounds you end up winning.
I think that's what I should've said the first time.
From experience, there are many factors.
You can study the ban-list. Sometimes cards that used to be in Z Palace but got moved down because they were strong must be effective in EFC Tower and beyond.
The list of explanations gives top strategies too.
Study the opponents too. One day, they use Montana, the next they use GHEIST, another using Nightmare. With that, a deck that did well one EFC Day might be terrible the next day or a deck you thought was pathetic might be the best deck for the next day.
EFC is really unpredictable. Do check how your opponents play against you too and see if their strategies can be implemented in your decks.
