Although the battle between the Komboka and the Pussycats had been on the cards for a long time, the Shifts surprised the Government by the unprecedented scale of the event. It goes without saying that conflicts and division always play into the hands of the powerful, but the organization is worried that these changes will cause the opposition figures to grow in popularity.
So, what better than several precision strikes to stop Clint City’s veteran characters gaining in momentum? Five examples of the X bomb, updated and improved so it now also targets women, should do the trick!
Near the Hellfire Club, #Charlie is in fierce combat with the Komboka warriors, aided by the fearsome #Vixen, when suddenly, a projectile lights up the sky over the Pussycats’ neighborhood. Is it yet another strike from those volcanic ladies?! No, the weapon seems much too cumbersome… Can it at least be dodged? The two women stare up at what might very well be the death of them, when suddenly a spaceship appears out of nowhere to save them. From the inside, Uranus cries out, “You’re targets now! And I can’t let the managers of such a good nightclub go to their deaths!”. With this, the Sakrohm party girl whisks the two women far away from Clint City and off into outer space… But will #Charlie, who’s been seriously injured by Kuwaka, survive the journey?
Meanwhile, #Zlatar continues his fight against the Dominion. After having burned a considerable amount of Orfanwood, #Valhala finally brings his mad rampage to a stop, armed with Nidory’s hammer. As for #Shakra, he’s headed for the two protagonists, all set to do whatever it takes to stop the destruction of the Roots’ neighboring forest. But when the bomb dropping down from the sky enters into contact with the black magic contained in the hammer, a strange reaction is unleashed. Rather than killing #Zlatar, #Valhala and #Shakra, the explosion transports them to an unknown world: a devastated dimension devoid of all life forms…
Not far from the Sentinel HQ, #ZRobbie paints #Don’s portrait over and over again, despite the fact that #Don is already a well-known figure in the clan. But seeing the godfather carry on in this way in broad daylight, without in any way disguising his many criminal talents, is quite astonishing! Also, he somehow looks a little different… Has he by any chance had a face-lift? The face of the boss in all its complexity and uniqueness, brings the robot’s artistic talents back to life! So, when the ground crumbles around #Don after the explosion he narrowly missed, #ZRobbie decides to follow the godfather down to the underground passages into which he’s just fallen…
Feeling less needed since the return of his friend Christie, #Bodenpower decides to lunch out near the Junkz quarter, in an outlet of the now famous “Chez Gyro” franchise. After a substantial meal, he wanders the streets looking for wrongs to right, when suddenly, three figures appear before him. Initially taking them for Pillz dealers, he realizes that it’s in fact #Romana, #Gibson and #Nobrocybix in the middle of preparing their next rave. Their aim? To create virtual headphones for all the Junkz to wear, so they can crank up the decibels without having to pay a fine for disturbance of the peace! What they don’t yet know is that their electronic device, that has absorbed the bomb’s energy, is on the verge of transporting them into cyberspace… To the exact world from whence Haze emerged!
Hoping to open up the All Stars’ league to more extreme sports, #Eyrton is on the lookout for talent at the Skeelz academy. A few students such as #Corvus and #Sandro approach him, curious about putting their psychic abilities to good use! But suddenly, #Hemdall, the gatekeeper, decides to take these three characters through a hazy portal to save them from the bomb that’s dropped on the academy’s playground…
And it is at this precise moment that all these victims of the Government, now presumed dead, realize they must unite to defeat their common enemy…the ones manipulating the Government from behind the scenes, Memento and his daughter... #Kate!
