@batdut5 He doesn't have 2 more power, he beats some cards, will most likely tie most cards for power, and lose to alot who also have 9 power, or power manip.
Also whats detrimental nowadays is how many ability dependent cards like Kuwaka or Kylorenne exist making Bixente pretty bad. I honestly think Bixente should have either been +2 per opp power or a 7/3 since he's a rare filling in the rather empty 2* lineup of All Stars (who else atm is a dependable staple 2*, aside from Jessie, Matilda?)
I think we can come to the conclusion that we play All stars differently.
They way I play all stars is more aggressively and are more focusing on attacking your opponent constantly. That's why this new all star fit perfectly into my mono.
You on the other hand atomic by the sound of it play them more defensive and build a wall before attacking
I personally use the Attack and Power Modifier combination with the All Stars.
What I like about Attack Modifiers when used in conjunction with Power Modifiers are that Power Modifiers give an advantage for more Pillz or make it hard to catch up to Attack Modifiers.
That isn’t to say cards like Mulligan, Harrow Ld, Marina etc. are weak, but fall in line with playing a defensive All Stars lineup.
Cards such as Aamir, Oxana, Matilda just to name a few give an edge to offensive based play as they are round winners on the EFC side of things.
Junkz: Attack Mods and Power manipulators (Same way I described All Stars). This allows me to pressure the opponents to play more Pillz or give me more room to Attack. Attack modifier does give an advantage in short Pillz fights. I do sometimes use more than 1 Pill with Carrie if I need to put pressure on opponents to use up strong cards.
Piranas: I use their Cancel Opp. Bonus with Pillz manipulators. I use them like Raptors for Pillz distance and removing problematic bonuses.
Bangers. I use Power and Pillz manipulation together. Bangers are those power clans whose Pillz manipulation help matches Long-term, though it relies on certain playstyles.
Raptors: I feel it’s a must have Clan for players because of their unique attribute to cancel Attack Modifiers. I don’t really play them in any particular way, but base my Pillz usage on the opponents hand since I find they are more suited to helping in matches and make players who normally have an advantage in Low Pillz easier to manage. They also Counter some of the best clans such as Sakrohm, Montana Uppers, Huracan just to name some of my personal challenges there.
Since the release of Roderick, I’d say they’ve become one of my favourites. I play them with Attack Manipulators, but also defensively using Harrow Ld. Basically high Pill fights to pressure the opponent.
Generally speaking in a NewBlood Perspective, a good NewBlood in my opinion should encourage a combination of fundamental UR principles or bring feasible combat in battle.
Power + Attack Mod
Power + Pillz Mod
Attack + Pillz Mod
Bonus Stopper + Pillz Mod
Power Protection + Power Boost
Protect Ability + Useful Ability
Victory Based Ability/Bonus + Defeat Based Ability/Bonus.
It’s also nice if it goes both ways such as with Pr Hide
Just to name a few.
If I should pick 5 favorit clan it would have to be these five
#All star. I lower playing aggressively with them, and make sure to have the power advantages against my opponent and the same time make sure that they can't do anything to effect my power.
GhosTown. I love the night and day combos the fact that at both night and day I can get the control of my opponents power and hurt them a lot.
Roots. Over the last year I have grown a love for roots. They shown me to be a technical hard clan to play were they have some strong damagde card, but mostly focusing on inflect small damage while controlling the life of the battle.
Sentinel. They are a really strong clan with a lot of strong base power. The fact that some of there cards have 8 power with high damagde is really awesome and make them easy to play without relaying on there ability.
Uppers. I love the the gameplay style that they bring to the table. They might not have the strongest base power, but they bring some of the strongest abilities to the game, which makes up for there lack of power. On top of that, they also have one of the strongest bonuses.
Junkz, Rescue and Sakrohm is also part of my favourite clans and I love playing with them
