Hello all !
You're new in town or an old inhabitant of Clint City, introduce yourself here.
Who are you ? When did you arrive in town ? What is the name of your beloved pet ? Do you prefer chocolate ice cream or sauerkraut hot dogs (with chocolate too if you want) ?
This thread is not made to recruit people in your guild, just to know each other better
Hi, everybody. I'll give the cliffnotes version of me!
I am a player that believes that one must play for fun without pulling punches I believe that the only fun and respectful way to face your opponent is with your whole might. On a personal note, I am a Youtube LPer (LP=Let's Play) and I stumbled across this I have found it to be an interesting and fun game. I just wish all the dirt cheap cards in the market weren't all max level. Still my point is I love to have fun, I love to just straight up chill. I ADORE anime but have never been to a convention. I also RP and Write stories on Fanfiction.net so...
It's a pleasure to meet you all.
because the value is calculated in an artificial system that doesn't actually exist either (clints). The clints themselves have value in another artificial system that does actually exist (although that is debatable) - i.e. cash. You can buy clints for money.
Therefore the values attributed to cards that don't exist is purely an arbitrary one assigned according to the performance of a virtual market within a virtual game. Often, but not always, this value reflects how much fun can be gained from playing a particular card within that game, however the availability of the cards within the artificial market is strictly regulated by the game staff enabling their control over which values cards hold, whilst being unable to fully control the market itself.
So, to summarize: How can a card hold value when it never actually existed?
Both card and the value assigned exist in a virtual, artificial market controlled by staff within a game.
Their ACTUAL value is in our heads.
