But in low pillz fights sargh can help you more and if you get hit by a card with stop opp ability ability or a stop all then sarghs 7 power is more helpfull. Sargh can also help against other - power ability cards. But its a personall choice and you don't have to change it.
Interesting deck. I would personally change Rubie to Pallack.
Lol at post 11, you know you might be right, if I look to other posts from this player like
if you look at the general tone of his posts and the way he displays his own problems, he really is a forum troll, and a pretty fat one judging from how he was "fed" in the other topic and this... personally I would really close this kind of topics
"In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion"
With the sentinel low part, I reached 1424 last week (with Vortex), 1370 (with Uppers). With freaks low part, I reached almost 1400 too. The most important it's I get the feeling that those deck are strongest than "big deck" - Junkz/Berserk, Monta/berserk, Rescue...
Few words for the history. Raven and I know well this kind of deck. They were dominating ELO tournament when Graksmxxt was not forbidden. Sakrohm had 3 good cards (Uranus-Grakst, and caciope 1 for low part, Skrumxxt for big part), and those deck with 3 sakrohm were very very strong. Strongest than mono rescue with Alec and Marco, or Bangers Montana with Lyse, or Pussy-stars-Eyrick, or Gheist-Morphun-splash. When grakst was bannished, the 5/3 was not a good choice. But now, it changes, the choice of cards is very large (so you've got more possibilities to make some goods low parts, or put some really good cards in your strong part (as sentinels, with the new blood Morgan, Eebiza or Flanagan for a Junkz's strong part)), with no over-rated cards (so drawing bonus is most important).
It's why, IMO, you should consider 5/3 as a good eventuality for your next deckbuilding
A better way to fix rage bans imho is to not allow them in the first place. Either have a ban cap of 2 cards/week per clan or dont allow people to place all their votes into one clan, i.e. if you voted for spyke, you cant vote for the other cards from berserk. Way too many people obviously put 2/2/2 or more into the 3 berserk cards. Even without spyke, I would have loved to halfdeck berserk simply cuz I like em. I did it before spyke was released. But now I cant use berserk for the entire week, even tho Lola and Elvis are nowhere near broken.
Interesting deck. I would personally change Alexei to Desmond and Gianfranco to Kang.
Ok deck. I would personally change Eadh to Mawpin and Orlok to Pan.
Interesting deck. I would personally change Timmy to sargh.
I agree with KV Raven.
It's literally impossible to remove completely the luck factor of the game. Even if it were removed, then everyone would play the same strategy and same deck... Another thing that makes players fascinated by any TCG is the "countering" element of the game. Every deck will have a weakness, and the most all-rounded deck will not be the strongest.
For Urban Rivals. if you can well-predict all possible outcomes since Round 1, you can most likely win the game if your opponent can't.
Tromorh to jiro, as pill manipulation doesn't fit in with junkz, bevause both pill maniplations and berserk are more geared to opening and midgame, which is why I would also switch lolly to veenlye cr and eebize to haze
Spyke meets Roots!
this one is one of the "standard" roots / berzerk decks, very powerful and consistent
although I like rudy, using elvis and melanie instead of rudy and kawamashi is almost always better
especially because both melanie and elvis "counter" spyke, which you will see a lot of
Change woolf and woods
wakai for woods or down grade woolf to 3* and put in a better 3* for sakrohm like ngrath woolf could be changed to any decint 3*
Don't change zhu tang to elya cr, zhu tang is much better
personally I don't like tsubame all that much, 7 power I consider too little for a big hitter 5 stars card, although she has that nice ability
I would get fei instead of tsubame and nakata or ralph instead of yumi
as AaaBattery said, marlysa could be introduced instead of spiaghi, but some nice damage reduction is always welcome, depends on the metagame of the current week
Sorry if my rant caused the topic to derail a bit... More on topic, I think these groupings might be a step in the right direction, but they could probably still use some refining. Right now it seems like we're just stating the obvious. To sum up what wasteroftime seems to be trying to say: Staples, cards that are too good to be unbanned all the time, and the occasional counter card belong in a good ELO deck and nothing else will do.
What I personally would love to see are groupings based on function. Some cards are natural walls, others make great attackers, other cards still are best suited to be played last, some make great forks, etc. I'd love to see some speculation on this, maybe by way of a tier system. Comparing Chiara to Edd Cr is like comparing apples to oranges, even though they're both staple cards. I'd be more interested to see people comparing Chiara to, say, Lehanne.
I'd also love to see some speculation on what's a good recipe for a successful deck. Just calling certain cards ELO-worthy and others not is arguably a worthwhile venture, but it's not all that useful for those of us who have a decent grasp of ELO already.
Sharon> Edd Cr
I think you should get shaakarti so you'll have your full collection then once they're a cr you could sell it for a higher price and get a nightmare deck.
@KV Raven: I know it was posted then but i posted the Gianfranco to Mona for this week.
