"UR is still much less pay2win than any other online game like Hearthstone or GTA online."
Mind you sir, I have a very competitive collection in HS and never wasted a penny on that game. And I've been playing for less than a year.
UR is a pay to win game. Period.
You can have many good arguments about this game, (like how fast and easy to play, the poker-like aspect, lots of references and variations). If this game wasn't pay to win it would've died a long time ago by now. (As it was pretty much stated when they decided to give this game one more chance)
Did you not read the countless paragraphs I wrote desconstructing all those "good points"?
Are they good points simply because you agree with them? Do you have anything of value to say?
I went into detail as to why each of those "good points" are clearly coming from people that aren't playing the game, so of course they lack knowledge of the current state of the game.
Telling people their points aren't good and that they don't know what they are talking about isn't a way to dismiss valid arguments, it's literally what is going on.
I was under the impression that there were many expansion packs in Hearthstone that you needed to pay to use, I stand corrected.
UR isn't pay to win though, you could play without putting money in and with skill and market abilities, make fortunes out of nothing. I've seen it happen before, sure most people put some money in, but it's by no means a requirement.
You could even arguably just pay to get things started and then remain many years later without paying.
I know that for a long time, i've been paying out of courtesy rather than necessity.
Big 5s used to have an unprecedented amount of power, the fact that they were the only 8/8s in the game was truly special, but regardless if they are no longer as OP as before, they remain special in terms of history and price.
They have always been archievable by experienced players that are good at the market or played a lot of ELO. They will always be the big 5.
This game is running for pretty freaking 10 yrs and everyone still think the most powerful cards should be big5? Common new clans deverse their powerful cards too. Big5 now just for the shake of collection and not for power symbol as they were used to be.
I will look to say, to all of you who complaining about staff making so many special offers lately, just stop. Staff got all the right to make so many offers, because of what they have been doing the last four months. The last four months, staff have doing fowling things: They have turned 2 collectors card into mythic cards, they have turned 6 cards into cr, they have realesed 3 three amazing comics for almost no credits and followed up with 3 special cards on for each comics, they have also released a whole new clan and their leader, they also relased a bunch of new abilities + a brand new surprise 8/8 card, and on top of all that they have also made two lotteries where you could win a big 5 and kept some of the promise they made, a 8 power card for bangers, a new Ulu Watu and 9/9 for vortex.
So saying that staff is money hungry is just wrong, they are doing their best to make sure that everyone get a chance to get some of the new stuff they have and are making.
Nobody is forcing anyone to buy credits to get pack, is up to the individual players to decide whether they want to buy some credits for their money or not.
Hearthstone is a pay to win game if you want to be competitive on the first weeks of your account.
There have been many times the Tier 1 decks were less than 3000 dust to craft (which you can get by playing like for two weeks.)
We are at a really rare moment that one of the tier 1 decks is 10.000 dust (and by the way I have it fully completed with my f2p account).
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying UR is a bad game for being pay to win, I just think the new player — free to play player experience could be much better. (The tutorial mode was a really good addition, but I still think there should be more)
I really wish the Staff could make a popular poll on buffing the old cards.
