I just want to say 270 credits to unlock full seaason.......
you get 3 LDs cards not released at all for the rest of the game can't sell or buy or trade LD's!!!!!!
IT will be 2 years before you get a chance to get another LD from same clan in Arcade mode........
why complain thats worth evry credit since nobody else can get them unless they pay the credits and win in arcade.
and you will be the only players holding theese supper rare cards..... hell you can buy a dj korr cr or kiki cr in market.
all the regular lds are already out thier for evry one whos been playing...... sounds like a real deal to me !!!!JUST SAYING!!!!
Last week I calculated in german forum that arcade modus is waste of credits! With the right clans you can earn more than 1000 clintz per credit with an armagedon pack! So even if we get a 300k cr its not worth the money. Also if everyone gets the 300k-Cr prizes will fall and there will be no happy player. Thank you! The only advantage is to get new Ld's. But tell me who wants to wait 7 week after paying 270 credits to get the first exclusive card in this modus? And the other prizes until now are rubbish!
Puma - You should definitely write your version! People look forward to it. I only wriote mine because you hadn't written anything yet, so I figured you were tired or not up to it this time.
Can an admin or someone delete my backstory post to force Puma to write the one everyone actually wants? =P
An interesting note about how we design things for Arcade or any other mode, the rewards are never picked randomly. Somebody sits down and makes a spreadsheet of the expenditure and reward ratios at every level of play, other designers check this work, adjustments are made when we feel it is needed.
Everything in UR that requires Credits is designed, from the very start, to have similar value to buying packs. Some things which are only available for a limited time are designed to produce a little nicer Clintz-per-Credit ratio, in fact...
So, for Arcade Seasons:
-The total rewards add up to about what you would get from pack purchases, but without as big an element of risk.
-The CRs distributed to players who clear a Season will come from a pretty non-trivial pool of cards (and of course, a significant number of players will keep their reward rather than selling it immediately...) We don't expect Arcade rewards to devalue any CR cards.
-You get 3 Lds per season, which is a nice perk to have early.
In this, you should find some small potential benefits. If you really prefer to earn your LDs early, or like the meditative, puzzle-like style of Arcade, or simply prefer to play UR in single-player to relax sometimes, then you should consider this mode. For some players, the excitement of live PvP and opening card packs will always be greater than what Arcade has to offer... For others, being one of the first to unlock a cool-looking new LD will help make the price of entry worth it. Hopefully you can see that it's subjective, but from a purely mathematical standpoint, the rewards of Arcade match or slightly exceed the reward of packs.
