2500 clintz + 2 credits.
Just keep zero pill bluffing with an attack manipulation clan. The AI will eventually way overpill on one card and give you the easy win (Ide say 90%+ of the time its the AI tactic). Sean East round 1, no pills; killshot activated every single time.
Lol. Still not paying. Nothing to draw me to the mode still. Minimal story, boring gameplay, high entrance fee. Spend the time grinding in another mode and eventually you will win 200-300k of prizes, with more interesting gameplay and winning credits instead of paying them out.
26 - hansa, An Armageddon pack is more expensive (340), and even then you've probably calculated the average. You still run the risk of getting a bad pack, with very few good rares or uncommons -- even with the best choices. Of course it's not as common, but this option ensures a decent price for the amount spent. Plus, it offers something different than Tourney, Survivor, or ELO.
29 - ghelas, the pool of Crs from 200-300k is currently:
Swidz Cr, Caelus Cr, Kalindra Cr, Jackie Cr, Dounia Cr, and Thaumaturge Cr. 6 cards. 4 of those are desirable, playable Crs, but let's face it... Swidz Cr and Thaumaturge Cr are just trade-bait. It would almost be better, to me, to switch Swidz Cr with Blaaster Cr. 10k less, but a playable Cr. It might look better if you went to 350k, increasing it to 10 cards, but then that includes Nahi Cr, which I'm guessing was left out on purpose.
30 - Jamox, I'm guessing the cards hurt worst by devaluation will be the non-playable Crs. Playable Crs will most likely dip for a bit, but overall hold position. I'm guessing this will just slightly slow their growth.
33 - Puma, You know that's an overstatement, man. Packs don't guarantee something good. I've bought PLENTY of crappy packs, haha. I'm sure you have, too.
34 - Puma, Nice story.
39 - Dragon, You always change what you mean. =P " the Ld's are only free if I don't have to spend credits"
Arcade Tickets = Tokens. Tokens = DT. DT = spending time. Simple. No Credits needed. Standards met.
Sorry for double post, but I write too much.
2 things, UR:
1.) Kudos on adding, at least, an arcade ticket inventory inside the Arcade Mode itself. Looks nice. (It's in the upper left-hand corner for those who don't know).
2.) I totally echo post 40. AWESOME re-work of the Market. This is much, much, much easier to use. Faster, too. Bravo, UR. The market looks fantastic, and you've placed everything quite well. I couldn't be happier. Now let's move to the next thing. Can we make it the bottom part of the Character pages? Still, the market for individual characters is hidden under the Graphics tab, and I think we'd like our comment voting system back up and running, if possible.
@Boknehoog: Post 38 says it best. Keep in mind that there's a pretty definite trend here: new players may be a little hesitant to play the more competitive modes, so for them, a single-player mode is great. UR veterans who are used to the feel of competition, and don't find it stressful, will probably favor competitive modes.
But, not to worry. We have a lot of nice things coming very soon for our competitive players, as well... Including some changes to LW and Coli, and more regularity in how often those modes are available. So, we haven't left anyone out.
