The title says it all! Last election everyone's favorite ~11/8 was BANNED FROM ELO MODE!!!! (temporarily).

If you played Pilzken + Mono-Junta before the ban, what will you do? Will you sub in Raven? Ray? Or will you put in a smaller card and upgrade one you already used?

If you didn't play Pilzken + Mono-Junta, then feel free to call everyone who did a "noob", "idiot", or "scrub" (your choice) and say they should "Get out of your Urban Rivals". Feel free to blame them for the death of your aunt as well.

Have at it, folks!

@Pilluminati: My only response is "Oh, snap".

• I personally hate the "virtual power" concept if it pertains to - power. It is just for minds who calculate slower than others. Let me prove it.

Pilzken vs. Buck. Assume that it is last round, and opponent have 7 + 1 pillz left. You have 5 + 1 pillz left.

If proper logical thinking applied, this will happen:
Pilzken 7 power x 6 pillz = 42 attack. Buck 9 - 4 power x 8 pillz = 40. Your calculation shows that you win.

But if your mind works slower and think - power as "virtual power", this will happen:
Pilzken 11 power x 6 pillz = 66 attack. Buck 9 power x 8 pillz = 72 attack. Your calculation shows that you lose.

I hate it, but it's really obvious that such virtual power thing is way too incorrect, and being frank here, I think the calculation area in their minds are really narrow that's why they can't process a simple math within split seconds. That's just basic mathematical operations for god's sake. It's logically, technically, and reasonably incorrect. If you're against me about the "virtual power" thing, please explain so that I may be enlightened

Jeez guys. For what it's worth I too am tired of seeing noobs comment on new cards like Pericles saying "OMG virtual 12/10 with Ambre on a 4th-round courage turn and fury." But I honestly don't see what's wrong with calling Robb Cr a 10/4. I'm pretty sure none of you would argue with calling Nanook a virtual 10/4. Sure, she could run into things like SoB/-Power but overall, because her bonus adds to her own power instead of reducing an opponent's power, we wouldn't be having such a discussion.

Yes I am aware of the need to factor in minimums and that calculations especially with higher pills favor -power more due to the ratios between both power values. I've been playing this game for seven years for Christ's sake. I think it's pretty clear that even if I describe Robb as a virtual 10/4 in discussion on the message board or comments section, I know not to simply multiply my pills by 10 when calculating a fight. 10/4 is simply the general value and relative stats of a card. It's certainly much easier to say than 5/4 with -3 opp power min. 4 as an ability and -2 opp power min. 1 as a bonus, and is still true unless talking down to some newbie.

• @WMDuessel Nanook being 10/4 is virtual? Oh god. It's her explicit power, 8 base +2 from bonus. And Robb is not a 10/4, he's just flat 5/4. It's stupid to assume that his - power would count as his own power. Just check my computation above. And really, why would a decent person assume that Robb Cr has 11 power if he could just deduct the 5 power from his opponent, and compare it to his 5 power in terms of calculation? For god's sake be logical people!

It best to look at -power cards as only 1 or 2 power above their own normal power and base it off of their min.
Robb Cr at best is a 7/8 power.
Way I see it is that virtual power is the avg between the max possible reduction the card can do and the card's base when hit with full stop or facing something with protect: power.

Of course this being for lazy people who don't want to calculate directly.

But if you are so lazy as to just calculate him as being 11 power then no that's just straight up wrong.
