The fanscript is a true sequel to my first story (I had some stuff that needs to be answered) so I hope you don't mind. To see the original and the others: http://www.wix.com/yaoihuntressearth/Clint-City-Stories
Panel 1: It’s another night for Roots as Armand, Tshern and Lilly are carrying boxes of canned food to the storage room of the new soup kitchen the clan set up. Caught in a debate, Armand and Tshern are getting fairly close to arguing and annoying Lilly (who is four feet in front of them) as she rolls her eyes.
Tsiern: Come on, the guy’s long dead; he won’t have won anyway.
Armand: Not as a zombie.
Panel 2: Armand just can’t believe the stupidity of Tshern’s belief as he to him while they set the boxes down. The feeling is mutual for Tshern.
Armand: Not like your guy is any better; with all those drugs in his system he couldn’t even land straight punch.
Tsiern: He survived; it just means he can take more hits.
Panel 3: Grating on her last nerve, Lilly lets them have it and makes a bit of a blow. Unknown to them, a monster-shaped shadow looms in the corner as a floating key chain with three keys attached to it jingle above the Roots members heads.
Lilly: Would you be quiet! Nobody but you two care whether Frank Zappa could beat David Crosby in fist-fight.
Panel 4: The shadowy figure’s eye glow red as it looms over Tshern and Armand who innocently find their debate of use.
Tsiern: Well, we think it’s important.
Panel 3: A lingering of strength remains underneath Robin’s slight trembling that Vryer can’t help, but to find almost cute as he makes his way toward him.
Vryer: Oh don’t be that way. Think of how many would’ve fell apart if they were in your shoes, but look at you: better, stronger all because of my divine guidance.
Robin: What do you want?
Vryer: Just a little loyalty.
Panel 4: Flashback of Loma Noju filled with reluctance and guilt for the pummeled security guards of a medical lab that collided with his fists. With a smile and a simple brushing off of his concerns, Vryer walks off with a tray of test tubes.
Vryer Caption: You don’t have to join, not all of them do.
Loma Noju: Just never ask me to do this again.
Vryer: Ah promises promises.
Vryer Caption: So what do you say?
Panel 5: That’s when Robin turns his back and utters the one thing that he doesn’t want to hear; a true test of Vryer’s composure.
Robin: Hell no.
Vryer: And what? Go back to being the clan joke? The boss’ little charity case? The very thing your partner use to curse the existence of?
Robin: I’ll make it; just not on your terms you sick, sadistic monster.
Panel 6: Having him begin to walk away isn’t making things any better for the Gheist member’s temper as he tries to catch up with him.
Vryer: Don’t you turn your back on me. I am your benefactor; your savoir.
Panel 7: Seizing Robin by his trench coat and turning him around, the last of Vryer’s patience is shot.
Vryer: I AM YOUR GOD!
Panel 8: And in return, Vryer receives knock-out punch to the face.
Panel 1: As a final wrap-up, Vryer looks in anger at the world and himself for losing control as he sits in the back of a squad car, handcuffed and with a black eye.
Robin Caption: In a way, maybe Vryer was right.
Panel 2: Chloe and Havok’s stomachs churn as they gaze upon a letter she got out of a box just like the one Sigmund received in “Bad Karma.”
Robin Caption: That part of me had always thought things would never change.
Panel 3: A shot of the letter that reads: Heir to the throne, “Auntie.”-Morlha. Complete with a pregnancy test (with a positive reading) that’s taped to the bottom of the letter.
Panel 4: Finally being let out of that closet, Rick (wearing the sweat suit from before) stands across from Malia as she holds up a trash bin and drops her whip into it.
Robin Caption: And I ended up getting too use to what I was.
Rick: You remember your half of our deal?
Malia: No whip.
Panel 5: John gazes at his partner (who is off panel), giving him a happy smile.
Robin Caption: Actually it’s kind of nice to not be looked down on anymore and know I have some value.
Panel 6: Knowing that life still goes on, Robin (now in 2nd level) looks up to the sky with hope.
Robin Caption: What Vryer did to me will probably never leave, but I’m ready to face it and the rest of my life anyway I can.
Caption: The End.
Author's Note: Finally closing this huge, seven story arc and pretty much tied all the loose ends as best as I could; I just want to say that it's been a great and crazy ride for me. I feel a little sad, but I want to take a true vacation from this so I don't wear myself out. Maybe in a few months or sooner or later I'll begin some new stuff and stories that this time will be in novel form instead. Personally, I'd love to do a Christmas special involving Roots and a certain Upper in the world's most horridly put together version of the Christmas Carol. Thanks again for all the support.
