I've been playing for almost a week now and I'm just starting to get into the strategy of the game. Right now, my deck consists of mainly La Junta with a few Sentinel tossed in. I'm trying to decide if I should go mono-clan with a full La Junta or if I should start investing in some more Sentinel cards... or even possibly selling off the 3 Sentinel I have and pair my La Junta up with a different clan.
Here is what I'm working with currently:
Any suggestions would be great! Right now I'm focusing on normal play but eventually I think I want to get into Type 1 or Type 2, don't think I'll be ready for ELO anytime soon lol.
Well, elo is much easyier for begginers than T2 because ELO decks can work around a budget. while T2 uses the all expensive crs and ELO banned cards. try using attack manipu.ation for a start because i believe it is easiest to handle
Thanks for the advice. Maybe I will try my hand at ELO once I get my deck right. So for some attack manip, would you suggest adding more Sentinel to increase my attack or dropping the 3 I have and picking up maybe Montana for their -12 attack clan bonus? I think it would be much easier to drop Sentinel than La Junta considering I have a lot less Sentinel cards in my deck. I kinda favor the damage +2 clan bonus La Junta has. It has helped me get 2 round KO's on many occasions by opening with a bluff card like Robin or Zdrone, then blasting their life with Amiral Py / Winifred.
You need to start off in the lower battle rooms and make a budget T1 deck, not Elo since most people have the best of the best decks.
Sell your Sentinel cards (for now) and picking up Montana would be good. You could make a mono-Montana T1/Elo deck with Hugo (once you get him).
Let me know your budget and I can help you.
I'm a fast learner hehe. As far as budget goes, right now I have about 500 Clintz, and a card I'm waiting to sell on open market for about 200. Within the next couple days I'll be working with about 1k or so I'd bet.
I think I'll work on getting Hugo and making some Clintz, and start picking up some Montana cards then. Most Everyone seems to agree Montana is beginner friendly, and has an awesome clan bonus in my opinion.
Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.
