It is so funny, i start off DTs pretty good. get 100+ points in a couple of fights (i use a similar deck to tiny cuts)
ill be doing absolutly great then all of a sudden about 1/2 an hour in to it i hit a bunch of fights with massive card counts, elo banned cands, really slow players etc.
so im stuck there watching them take there time, or watch them stomp me with Tanaereva, wee lee, or zatman, jackie, hugo.
i mean what the hell how many points can you get for a win with that pile or garbage, 10 ish a fight, i get nearly that for a loss. its just infuriating when you are playing well and have maintained a fight average of about 23-25 only to bump in to these people just playing with no sence.
or maybe im doing it wrong and should be using a deck like that.
No, you are bound to face players like that in T2 room.
Just complete the fight as fast as possible (which you should be always doing anyway) and move on.
If they have a load of 5-stared cards, the better for you if you can beat them with your low stared cards.
Tell us your deck, it may help too.
Perhaps the problem is that you're trying to win those games?
You're going to run into fools. Nothing can be done about it. I often dump all of my pillz on an early card and let them KO me. I'd rather lose in 1 minute and get into a game that can actually give me some points than waste precious time trying to overcome a sucker's -6 hand.
I play DT's regularly, and it is very common. Last DT I played, 10 matches in a row where montana and/or uppers. Then theres the players with bad connections and finally the bad sports (people who play to the last round then T/O because they're losing). This is what DT's are, not much that can be done about it.
"i mean what the hell how many points can you get for a win with that pile or garbage"
Ever considered that not everyone is aiming at winning tournaments (most are happy with the 1 credit prize) or that people are just there to play?
I hate it myself when people take ages to play a card (even when they lose 100%), but since there are no "tournament only" rooms we gotta live with that...
