Piranas are the pill manipulation clan on Urban Rivals.
Pro's of Pill Manipulation -
Once your opponent makes a mistake, they have pretty much lost the game.
You can make very scary bluffs which mixed w/ the rest of the manipulation, can be devastating.
Makes your opponent have a tough time predicting you because in the back of there mind they will know that if they predict wrond they will lose the game, which in turn, can make them make mistakes they wouldn't make against other clans and give you an easy win.
Con's Of Pill Manipulation -
If you predict wrong you could lose just as easily.
SoA cards can devastate them.
Piranas Bonus : Stop Opponent's Bonus
Keys For the Clan:
Smokey Cr never ELO banned anymore
Ulrich being released, which gives them the DR they needed to mix with Selma or Dalhia or Eklore if you use a leader.
Smokey Cr's, Dalhia's and Hawkins' Bluff threat.
Leaders that can be used with the clan :
Eklore - Makes Pill Manipulation even more effective and gives you a more room for error.
Morphun - Makes Pill Manipulation more effective, gives room for error, and let's you play very aggresively
Hugo - Helps with no pillz bluffs and Makes Tula absolutely a beast
Eyrik - Helps cards like Smokey Cr and Hawkins and Tula have 8 power or virtually 8 power(Tula's case) and makes Tyd and Dalhia amazing
They are great in half-decks
Beast Mono deck for Pill manipulation - Dalhia, Tula, Hawkins, Smokey Cr, Selma, Tyd, Ulrich, Spycee
But FIF can win a DT with any deck
Piranas are incredibly effective in ELO, and using the right cards, I think they can take you to 1400 (at least in half decks) although I've only reached 1400 with Skeelz, Roots and All Stars...
@Trippie: You are correct. Ulrich can sometimes be overlooked for Smokey Cr, because, honestly, Piranas don't necessarily need a DR. (Ulrich still works wonders if used) Tula is also a staple in both mono and half. (against 6 power and under without PR or AR, she win even if your opponent plays 3 pillz for every 2 pillz you play. She matches powers with 7 powers, again barring PR or +Power) Dalhia and Selma are really the only good Piranas 5* (Pesth and Bloodh may look nice with their life gaps, but Dalhia and Selma are more solid and definately more usuable).
I personally think of Piranas as a versatile clan. They can do well in Elo, but you won't go to 1400 as easily as other decks (for example, Hugtana). They can do well in DT, but towards the end, when speed rules and 2HKO's are crucial, Uppers and Bangers can be more effective usually.
Piranas with Eyrik? Personally, I'm not sure that's the best idea. I guess it works, though, with cards like Tula, Tyd, etc., and he IS less predictable than Ambre. I'd still prefer Morphun, Eklore, or even Hugo over him, though.
@Agito: They have different usages though. Bangers has high damage cards and, coupled with their bonus, make some quick matches. Piranas, on the other hand, are about winning rounds. You're right, it takes a lot of experience to wield one effectively. You need to have a general guideline on how 90% of the enemy will pill against your cards, how to sneak in an attack and take either the pillz advantage or the health advantage, or, if you're lucky, both! Practice is key with the Piranas.
