Hey, i've been playing for a bit, I have a general idea of how the game goes, but
I have a hard time seeing who goes well with. Also I have a hard time determining
wether a card is good at it's job or a waist.
I started off loving giehst (sorry if I spelt it wrong) and nightmare, then Puranas and lajunta.
Also the terms like 1300-1400e or somthing of that nature. Can someone give this noon a general briefing please.
I'll answer your questions in order:
1. Anything can TECHNICALLY work well with anything. It's the cards that matter, they ussually need to be synergystic. Like using Bridget with Pussycats or Jungo. Or maybe using Sakhrom with Pussycats. Try thinking like that. If you want to get a little bit more into it, here's another example; Zeke is a card that can remove up to 6 of the opponent's life through his ability, you have a couple of cards that have 6 or more damage. Why not use Zeke? He can make more knock outs than with, say, Danae. Synergy is key.
2. Usually the power is a good indicator, 5 power or below may mean it might be so good and 6 or above is useable. Afterwords, look at the ability (if able, usually people review cards at their useable level.) A card that, at first glance, seems pretty bad, but in actuallity is a semi-staple*, is Tula. At level 2, she has 3 power, 4 damage. Seems pretty not useful, but then you see the ability, -4 opponent power, minimum 2. Then you see she also stops the opponent's bonus, far from unuseable I'd say.
3. Zincomega has an apt discription of what you were asking there. It's their ELO score that they were probably refering too.
4. No, you're a person. Not a noon. A noon isn't a sentient being in which I (or anyone else for that matter) can communicate with :V
Hope I helped!
Thanks for the helpful replys. People say some decks are elo while other are are survivor.
How does one spot such a difference? That Tula example was perfect for what I man when I can't see how useful or weak are card really is. I do realize alot of it is how you play your pills and luck, which is one of the reasons I think I've won anything.
Thanks again for the replys.
Lol sorry I meant boob, still new to the iPod touch keyboard.
Well, for the ELO/survivor question: it's different cause in ELO, people don't necessarily have to win every match to get to the point they want, but the pressure builds up bit by bit, making the higer tier in ELO much harder. in survivor, you are forced to win fights in a row to get what you want, the pressure is always there, making the levels just as hard as each other without the different life and pill set up.
Lol wow, yes I did mean noob.
Well I've been playing around with some decks, I'm wondering what people can tell me about
dieter, glory, eadh, mawpin, nistarok, oshitsune, pen, phyllis.
I normaly go mono, as opposed to split decks. Not to say I won't play them, I just find it even,
harder to choose the right cards.
Another question of elo, are the banned cards constantly changing? I though I read ghumbo was banned,
but now I can't find it anywhere.
Sorry for so many lame questions. Thanks for the replys.
Ok, 1st of, that deck is very good, except sargh might be better than dieter, the rest is fine
2nd, some cards are permanently banned, they will never see the light of ELO again unless the staff decide to let them to, lamar cr and wee lee are 2 easy examples, some cards aren't like that, they are banned weekly, due to people voting to ban them here:
gumbo is one of those, and this is one of the rare weeks that he is released, thus you see him without the pill with the "X", after sunday he'll prolly be banned again
