Why would I take away cards that people theoretically spent money to buy credits to get? Because if you're selling them to your alternate account for the purpose of going into the 1-11 rooms to dominate the newbies during the daily tournaments, you've broken so many rules that you don't deserve those cards anymore.
1) You broke the rule about multiple accounts.
2) You're taking advantage of a "loophole" in the system (basically an exploit). And let's face it.. it's an underhanded exploit that has the potential to hurt UR, even if in the short run. It has the potential to cost us new customers. It may be a very small fraction of new customers lost.. but that's still money we aren't seeing.
3) It's just disrespectful to both the new players and to Urban Rivals itself.
4) And really... it's out and out cheating. You know damn well these guys can't put up a real fight against almost any maxed out deck with bonuses. Even if they spend gobs of money they're still going to have unleveled cards from packs. Theoretically yes.. a level 1 COULD actually get a good maxed out Uppers/La Junta deck. The amount of effort and money it would take to do so. isn't worth the effort. and they were probably experienced players to begin with (or have one sitting next to them) to know what cards to get.
Bottom line, it's bad for the health of the game.
However, It should be a non-issue soon enough. We're approaching Fraggle about putting an end to it.
Point of note...
players are allowed to join Clans really early on, at level 5... i think.
if in theory, a player joined a really helpful and supportive clan, they could get a really good deck sold to them by another clan member, for about 400 clintz, which wouldn't be hard, if you sell most of your collection as soon as you can buy a card to replace it.
which would explain a level 9, with only 9 cards, if they needed to sell a card, to make enough to buy another.
and, as far as i know, there is nothing wrong with selling cards to clan members.(now don't anybody go making your friends get accounts, just so they can own in the 1-11 rooms...)
