Iv got a nightmare/pussycat deck but every game I play I get 3 pussycats and 1 nightmare
Y is this?
Zincom is correct. But I found a way to get around this by using the new beta version of the "Play" area of the game.
1. Set your deck to have 8 characters... they each need to be 1 star, and they each have to be from a separate clan. Make sure the 2 clans you are going to eventually play with for the week are represented.
2. Click the Play! button.
3. Choose the ELO room.
4. Click on the Game Version: Beta (AS3-BETA7) (this will not work in standard mode)
5. Once in the ELO room, DON'T AUTOMATICALLY JOIN A GAME!
6. While in the lobby of the ELO, hold down the ALT key. While the ALT key is pressed, type out "nonrandomclans" (all lowercase, no quotes, no spaces).
You will then be presented with screen where you choose how many of chars from each clans you wish to be dealt for each game. If you want 2 of one clan or 2 of another, from the drop downs next to those 2 clans, choose 2 in each box.
This is the most standard way to game the system, or... you setup a 5,5,5,5,2,1,1,1 deck where the 5,5,5,5* characters are all from the same clan, and the 2,1,1,1 are from another. Then you do the above and choose to always be dealt 4 cards of your buffed clan, and 0 cards of the 1* clan. You will always be dealt your four 5* cards from then on in each game. Granted you will always have to go first, but odds are you will be able to overcome. Pick the clan that has your 4 favorite 5* chars and have fun.

What i've always wondered is when the percent chance of getting a clan bonus in a draw is displayed (on the public presets), why is it 51.4% for drawing both clans (in a 4/4 split) and 24.3% for drawing each bonus individually (a 3/1 split)? shouldn't it be 50/25/25?

Greets. ;-]
Actually, the listed percentages are correct.
What is often forgotten is the chance of a 4/0 split.
- 1 in 70 chance for 4 Nightmare
- 16 in 70 chance for 3 Nightmare & 1 Pussycat
- 36 in 70 chance for 2 of each
- 16 in 70 chance for 1 Nightmare & 3 Pussycats
- 1 in 70 chance for all 4 'Cats
36 in 70 is 51.4%.
16 + 1 = 17 chances in 70 for just one bonus, but it can be either a 3/1 split, or the 4/0.
Hope that helps. ;-]

It's because you have 48% chance of a 3/1 draw that you must learn to avoid some cards or even clans in half deck.
