So I saw a thread some time ago looking for ideas on new clans.
I have 2 ideas that needs some fleshing out but the ideas are sold.
Clan Bonus: Mimic Opp Ability
In a nutshell the Mimics' Clan Bonus allows them to copy other cards' Abilities.
This could introduce some interesting gameplay mechanisms.
2)Vampires...or similar name...
Clan Bonus: -2 Life Leech
The anti Jungo clan so to speak.
Clan bonus allows 2 life to be leeched from Opponent and gives it to controller.
I've always said there should be a cartel in clint city that controls/deals/manufactures pills in clinty city(kind of like how real ones do).And of course how fitting would it be for their ability to be torture 2,min 1
Note: Torture is an ability where if the opponent increases his power by say 2,his damage would then lower by 2.A very strong choice for T2 where Bangers & ulu watu players run rampant and abuse their power by running ambre+ bangers/ulu watu decks.This would discourage such things.And hey,it might even work in elo.
Torture idea is pretty awesome. But it is somewhat limited.
You get DR of 1 for 2 rounds against Ambre users.
You get DR of 1 against Bangers/Ulu Watu.
Aside from that, you get 1 and RARELY 2 DR against a few people various other clans.
You get nothing against Attack Manipulation (which is much more common), and nothing against Minus Opp Power (so All Stars and possibly more champions than have +Power).
Maybe base Torture on number of pillz used, and the number is how many Pillz they need to use per DR granted. So Torture 3 means DR 1 against 1 or 2 Pillz wins, and DR 2 against 3-5 Pillz wins. DR of 3 on 6-8....
So with these guys, if you think the opponent is high-pilling and accidentally let through a bluff, they have lower DR than Pussycats. In normal Pill encounters, they match Pussycats, and against heavily pilled smackdowns, they get loads extra DR. A Fury Kolos trying to 1-shot you would be 13 Pillz, so you get DR of 5.
