Therefore: What users would want might be something that is beyond the possibility of doing for the resources available, and that something might be beneficial to players but unbeneficial to system. Why would anything important being asked in these polls when the mind is mostly already made up by rationale? - After that polls become menial : "What kind of food do you like?". Oh boredom.
This game is not about democracy. Best way to change things is to give solid reasons who things should be done a bit differently and why it would be beneficial or atleast neutral to all parties, and hoping the staff to catch the idea. They actually do this, and we have seen very good developement; like secure trades.

There used to be a poll feature long time ago. UR Staff showed two possible alterations for a card and you could vote to choose. This was used to choose some ELO permanent bans and a little change to Bridget where she granted +2 life per turn instead of the current +1.
The fun thing is that you had to pay clintz to vote, and you could vote as many times as you wanted.
