@Trippie Corvus may have some more difficult matchups but he's a *lot* better against Nellie/ Mona/ Robb CR than any of the other 4* Skeelz characters (Greem, Manfred, Belgosi or Jay). The only one that has a fight ability is Belgosi and Belgosi's min. 5 makes his ability completely irrelevant against low power power reducers. Corvus is the *only* one that can wall those characters and come out with roughly pill parity.
Corvus' flex also allows him to avoid those tough match ups. Greem needs to go first and both Manfred and Jay are completely blank if you don't play them at the right time. Belgosi is just weak, he's better off compared to Aigwon.
Against low power power reducers, Skeelz have several excellent options like Chiara, Sandro, Redra and Sasha. Corvus' flex means I've consistently been able to play him in favorable match ups.
1) Quinn: I'm not saying this because I bought tons of him, but I've actually used him in gameplay. He is a smart card. You don't exactly have to use him with Courage, meaning you can trick your opponent and can end games in Type 1 or ELO easily.
2) Dwan: 7/6 -4 opp. damage, min. 1... real threat in T1 or T2, just as long as you now how to play with her. Easily used with Ambre, and can make 2HKO easier.
3) Taylor: I put Taylor in this cateory as an ELO card. People use Cortez more. Taylor has aid in battle to take out Attack and Power Manipulation, Damage Reduction, and more Damage or life gap bonuses. Cortez is just an 8/8 meat that makes you lose life if you hit your opponent. Don't get me wrong, Cortez is still a nice card. Not many cards could deal 10 damage and be an easy win or lose card. in the game.
Ima go with platinum. So many people pass him over for Arkn or z3r0 d34d, but he is really good. His reduction ability comboed with his bonus usually make him at least break even with cards. Used on 7 power and lower cards he starts giving them a hard time. Not saying he i better than the ladder but he is at least worth consideration.
I say Izsobahd is underrated. For -1 damage, he is basically, the Nanook, Tyd, Noodile Cr of the Vortex, with an ability. Against SoA, your opponent will be at a pill disadvantage no matter what (unless he uses an all stop). Although Deea and Sunder will probably still be the first 2 choices, Izsobahd is worth consideration.
I'd also say Scott Ld is underrated. Yes he is a great disappointment to most players. But with the Rescue bonus, he can either get an easy 4 damage, or your opponent would've used a lot of pills and got his damage reduced. And with the abundance of Rescue's DR and +life cards, he fits in very well.
Robin. Against any power=power card he will always win. I have tested him on all the others, he wins every time. but no one ever uses him. He is also an incredible bluff card. I cant tell you how many times I have been able to play him and get his 7 damage through. thats also importantat, he has 7 damage for a 3 star. thats amazing
Snowflake - May have some trouble because the Skeelz have some pretty solid 3*, Chiara, Sandro, Praxie. But they don't have many good 4* at all so in mono Skeelz I have been using her and she is really growing on me. Against certain decks she can be a nuke and can just about guarantee victory at the start of the match and against others she makes a really solid bluff.
