Is it just me, or in the few previous releases there have been a very strong card thrown into the mix? Could this possibly mean the bar has been risen? Making it so a card could quite easily become on par with someone like Jackie or Caelus. Spyke, (karrion?), Troompah, and now hefty. Spyke with his extremely powerful power reduction, troompah, the stat swapping Emeth and Hefty, a card who combines Strong stats, a strong ability and strong bonus to create an uber-super-mega-pro-card.
Are these coincidences?
Just wanna know the publics opinions
So yeah, Post away
IMO the bar will always gonna raise
check 4 years ago VS now
before 5 power is quite acceptable and 6 power for level 3 is quite common
but now? 5 is not acceptable without any attack or power manipulation
6 power for 3 stars also not acceptable, even 7 is now is the minimum (and they said not amazing anymore)
UR needs to make more and more card, and there is no way they always make weak or below average card,
they need, no they have to do it in order to entertain us their loyal consumer.
the only thing UR can do is how they could slow down the process
IMO, troompah is nice, not too overpower.
spyke is really an overpower card however in not so overpowered clan (imagine if he is in uppers, montana, or nightmare)
hefty is ok I guess, another lulabee isn't it? but his clan has too many 6 damage card that sometimes could give you a head ache (gail ld, rubie, oxen, hefty.. I'm sure you will get a headache, it's like la junta with -10 attack)
The only way to develop and create competitiveness is by introducing these new kind of cards with improved unique abilities but at the same time not tipping the balance too far. So what UR does is released cards which have the potential to be really powerful but at the same time will have a few number of cards which act as perfect antagonists to that card. for example; for every Spyke there's a Tula or miho or Robb cr.
