So, if standard would be introduced tomorrow what would be the dominant cards/clans?
What cards will need to be banned, if any?
What holes will need to be patched in each clan, for optimal ELO use, without copying old cards and without changing the overall character of the clan?
A preliminary list of cards can be found in a post from the "Standard" subject, some cards may be changed depending on the date on which Standard will be introduced and if it will cover the last 2 years or more.
I think that with the overall decrease in the power of cards, due to less being available, we will see an increased emphasis on the bonus. My guess is that those clans with more powerful bonuses like Rescue and All Stars will have an increased advantage in the Standard format due to cards not being able to overcome their advantage.
Well they have to ban a lot of Vortex and Berserk Cards, if not this mode will be dominated by them in the beginning.
Also the Power of the Decks will decrease, as the person above me said...
They'll have to release a lot of new cards in short time to make some clans playable again.
For example, Gheist and Roots will be crippled in the beginning.
And I wonder what will happen on the Market...there are a lot of people keeping Cards like Kolos, Ghumbo, Grakkmxxt in hope that they'll become CR sometime...
I just wonder how much the prices of the non-standart cards will drop and on the other hand, how much the prices for standart cards will rise.
I'm already seeing people buying future-standart cards like crazy.
Sorry for my posts piling up in this thread, but I have an idea
You know how we currently vote cards out of elo, because they are op or whatever reason. Why not hold votes to allow old cards IN to the new elo? Or to simplify, each week people vote for a clan, depending on how many votes the clan will get the admins / mods add better cards. (for that week) So lets say Bezerk get 60% of votes, this might mean that they get Spyke or Elvis. (might change which cards, even if same percentage)
Im not sure whether or not it would be put in, as it quite broad.
Jayzel is a playable character and often useful.
Cherry is also a useful character but almost always poorly played.
They have very good base stats, and are useful even if they lose the round, and have useful or slightly threatening abilities.
I dont know how you guys. I have tried them in many different decks and they are just not workng. In fact they are totaly worthless and i do not suggest to use them at all in elo if you dont want to loose 2 many games... Ii havent faced pussycats for a while. Even if i face some pussycats deck there is no problem of winning them.
1) Jayzel. Revenge SOA means, you can use her at second, third or last round. and also you must sacrifice a card wich makes her extremly predictable. 7 power easey beatable, 4 damage, just dont scare me. BAD really BAD card
2)Cherry is a very tricky card. It may seem a good card but actually she s worthless for elo with 14 lifepoints. Even if you pass in 90% of the cases you will get only 4 life gap (sometimes even less), wich is not not enough to win a game.
The problem of pussycats, they are not flexble. 2 many cards easey beat almost all pussycats cards. SOA kills their good abilities. And else new abilities defeat + - life, protection damage. Well i would say pussycats bonus just lost its purpose.
